Awesome Scooter - 5 Stars!
This ESKUTE MAX scooter is super cool! It goes smoothly. I hardly charge it because it can go for days -climes up hills very easily., and the big 10" wheels make it comfy, no bumps. Folding it is easy, a. Great scooter, and lastly it's affordable. totally recommend!

Breaks failed, caused me to get robbed for the scooter.
Well for about the first week and a half of owning it I thought it was the greatest thing ever, good battery life good acceleration just a well made product..,. And then I rode it once on a rainy day and literally fell off the thing twice, traction isn't the best... and then for no reason last night the handbrake failed on a moderate Hill in San Francisco (luckily I wasn't going down a really steep one or I would have been terribly hurt) but it was for that reason (and the fact there is no foot break on the rear wheel which I find odd) that I had decided to turn off and push the scooter through a really bad neighborhood in the city and as a result of this I was approached by a group of hooligans who roughed me up and stole my scooter. And to top it all off there's no current app to connect it to my phone so I can't track it or lock it. Really really upset about this one.

Fun, fast and easy to handle.
We were concerned when we received the delivery as the box was damaged. We contacted the company who advised us that the scooter inside should be undamaged but to contact them again if we had any concerns. The scooter was a Christmas gift for our son. We decided to give him the gift early.....just in case it was damaged. We needn't have worried. Our son put the scooter together in 5 minutes and it worked immediately. Already charged. He is now able to join his sons riding to school on their scooters and he loves it. The scooter is fast and easy to handle. It is also large enough for his 6ft 4in frame. He loves it which makes us very happy and we give the scooter 5 stars knowing that the company will help if needed.

Good scooter, but does not charge
I was able to ride to and from work one day, but realized on day two, that the battery level had not gone up while I thought I was charging it. Going to order another charger and hope that fixes the problem, because the help/support link on their website doesn't work.Edit: Tried a new charger. Also did not work. Will be returning

Works well in a Chicago Winter
In terms of this scooter, be prepared to start learning how to use some tools. If you have never used any tools before, you're going to be learning quickly with this item. It was the day before a horrible Chicago winter where we received horrible winter weather as well as 10 and even 15 below zero degree weather. So, I couldn't ride it for the first couple of weeks. However, I did start to ride it when it was 30 degrees in the Chicago winter. And let me tell you, I love this thing.I ended up upgrading and using a scooter that goes a lot faster called the Hybrid Scooter. And I'll say this, I go back to this scooter all the time because number one, it's light and it's reliable. Now, this scooter is 48 pounds, so keep that in mind. It's a little bit heavier than some of the other scooters out there. And if you're wondering why this is a little heavier than some of the other ones, that's because it does have a bigger battery. Now, if you decide to go on Eco mode, meaning five miles an hour, which is essentially walking pace, it might get you 30 miles. I use this scooter almost every day in 20, 30 degree weather. And I will say this, if you're going the max, which is 90 miles, then you'll feel the scooter pull you back if it tries to go over that speed limit. But I could possibly get 15 miles out of there if I'm lucky. So if you don't want to have people worrying about, oh, it's going to be too cold to ride this thing, you could ride this scooter. Just know this scooter is not meant to be ridden over snow. I wouldn't recommend taking it into dirt paths. I've tried the dirt paths and it's not that powerful and cannot run in wet, soggy dirt paths. So don't even try.Other than that, you might have gotten the impression I keep mentioning that this scooter is heavier than others. No. This scooter is 46 pounds. And I carry this scooter up and down stairs every day, as well as on a train every day. And then I get off and on. I get a good 12 miles out of this every single day. And it's wonderful.I do have some criticisms. One of the criticisms I found, and before you buy an electric scooter, you should be aware that if the manufacturer is no longer producing parts for your scooter, that could be a huge problem. Because now you're going to have to find a mechanic that handles scooters. If you're in a major city, this might not be a problem. But also something I have noticed as well is the handle in the front wheel will start to drift apart. So I've sort of had to jerry-rig this as well as tightening the bolts every so often or every day that I use this just to make sure everything is straight.I highly doubt this scooter will last me over a year. I hope it does because, again, I really like this scooter. And I use it every day for work. Just so you know, the manufacturer no longer makes scooters. If you go onto their page, they mainly focus on e-bikes. So be warned.Overall, 19 miles is very smooth sailing. It'll get you up and down the side streets. But I caution you into driving into traffic with this scooter as it's very slow unless there is a bike lane where you're at. With that being said, I've ridden this scooter over 300 miles. And it's done nothing but impress me. I bought a more expensive scooter that is much more heavier. In fact, it's over 100 pounds. So, again, trust me when I say that this is a very expensive scooter. In the more expensive scooters, if you notice, even if you're not going max speed, you're going to drain the battery fast even in a cold environment. So, with that being said, this little scooter, besides going more than 19 miles an hour, is very light. And I trust it every day as I go back and forth towards work. And this little scooter saves me money each and every day. I highly recommend it for your first scooter.Keep in mind with your first scooter, you want something that is comfortable. Something that is not going to hurt you. There is a debate within the scooting community whether pneumatic tires or those kids' tires that they have on other scooters are better for you. I tried out other scooters that are cheaper than this. And to be honest with you, I like the feel of the pneumatic tire. It just feels better. It can get around better. It handles potholes way better. And also, this scooter does have shocks. So, keep that in mind.I had a couple biking guys who came up and they were actually surprised on how well this scooter is built. Also, this scooter does have regenerative braking. What do I mean by that? When you brake, you're going to get some of that power that comes right back to your scooter. It might not be that much, but it's going to come back. Now, one thing you're going to also want to note, especially if you're riding in cold weather. You will notice sometimes your battery is going to drain real fast. However, I tell you not to worry. And the reason being is, let's say you just went on a 7-mile ride with this. You're going to the train station. This is what I do every morning. I take a nice forest trail and I head to the train station to get ready to get my train to go to work. In which I ride it again another couple miles. Anyways, while I wait for the train, sometimes 30 minutes. Because, you know, I just like to relax, look at the news. And one thing I'll notice is my battery will jump back up sometimes 20%, 30%, sometimes even 40%. So just know that what you see for your battery is most likely, if you notice a huge loss and it's real quick, it might be because of the weather. So please take note of that.Again, this is a great first-time scooter. I highly recommend this scooter just because of how well it performs and how reliable it is. It does have a couple issues, but I don't think that should be a reason for you not to get this scooter. Especially considering the other scooters that are on Amazon. And believe me, I've looked. This is a great scooter that a couple years ago was going for $800 and is now going for just under $400. I got it for, I believe, $250. So it was really worth it to me just because of the battery, the mileage. Because it's really hard to find a scooter in this price range that not only has the mileage, but also has the speed. Usually it's one or the other. Even as you go up to $1,000, you notice it's either one or the other. You can't have both. And this one, to me, you found a fair medium.I would highly recommend when you get this, go for a ride and test it out. See how well it works for you. But again, this is a great scooter to learn on.

Brake issue RESOLVED!
Edit: What a shame.. Such good components but the actual frame is brittle with faulty weld at the stem. I wanted so badly to use this scooter but ended up just salvaging the components.Super powerful. The 48v systems like this just feel much stronger than the 36v scooters. The battery really does have 480 w-h. The tires are 4 ply tube type that go to 45 psi. The app works. Front shocks work well. No rear suspension but smooth anyway. The deck is wide like the rental scooters.But…..The Brakes are way too strong. It’s all or nothing basically so lean back! I think it’s the electronic braking that kicks in at full strength regardless of how much brake is applied. That’s really the only drawback I found.Edit: I fixed the brake issue by adding another brake lever for my right hand. Routed the brake cable to that one. Now I have a EBS brake with my left hand and the drum brake with my right hand. No more abrupt braking now!
