Beautiful but needs better instructions
This fandelier is beautiful! The directions are really bad. We ended up having an electrician put it in, but with good instructions, we could have done it ourselves. Wish I had taken photos along the way. If it helps, the larger white rectangular thing with the wires hanging out (sorry forgot what it was called), that gets placed inside the mounting bracket and is placed right against the ceiling. The smaller, thinner rectangular unit is magnetized. That goes on the underside of the motor, same location as the LED light strip and it plugs into the LED lights. Our main dilemma was what to do with those two small rectangular units, so I hope this solves the problem for someone else!

Oh well....
I bought this beauty BEFORE I measured where it was to go! I had to return it...but if anyone has a home with very high ceilings, and would like something vintage looking along with a much needed ceiling fan, this one is exactly what you need! I still love this one, and I hated to return it.

Works well, mounting instructions are horrible.
Once mounted the light and fan fixture works well. The lights are bright and the fan is great. The mounting instructions however are another story. Those instructions made it look like it was four simple steps. Too bad it wasn't the case. The diagrams didn't match what was supplied. No mention that the remote controller receiver was made in the instructions. It was after I had wired the power to the fan and opened the box for the remote control did I find that there was another box that had to be wired in. The LED light strips are mounted via small magnets, these aren't the rare earth magnets that have a lot of holding strength. The box that control the lights are also mounted with magnets. You have to play with the position of the light strip and the control box so that the magnets get a decent grip.

Retractable fan
AWESOME fab,,,, ordered to replace the first fan I had ordered and it was lost in shipping so this fan replaced the first and I absolutely love it…puts out enough wind to blow you out your chair sitting under it at the kitchen table…. Fantastic…3 light settings….3 wind settings…aha… totally soundless…I got the Tiffany style since all my other light fixtures in kitchen and sun room are Tiffany…. Love love love this fan….even tho had to pay $330 to have it installed by electrician. WHEW…. But a woman my age has no business up on a ladder messing with electricity….whoop

As a light, great, as a fan, not so much.
Visually appealing, and great light with multiple color settings. However, the fan speeds don't differ enough and the lowest fan speed is just too much. I have it in my office, I really can only have it on in reverse because otherwise even on lowest setting its blowing my papers on my desk and uncomfortable air force down on me.

Functional and unique
Very easy to install. I love the "Tiffany" style globe, and the three modes of light. The coolest feature of course are the disappearing fan blades when it is turned off. Surprisingly powerful airflow from the fan when it is operating - we hardly turn it past 3 because that is plenty of airflow.Definitely recommend this ceiling fan. It was nice to see the packaging protected the globe - no issues at all.

sigh . . . no instructions
No parts list. No comprehensive instructions. In the year 2020, everything available on the web, but no website for this company to contact to download instructions. One is supposed to guess how it fits together.I've spent an hour trying to contact the company. The best I've been able to get so far is a string of Chinese characters replying to my request for help. Thanks for nothing WIPYU, or whatever your company name is.At this point, I'm considering throwing the entire mess into the box and returning it to Amazon, and let them deal with it.Discouraging.UPDATE:Finally got the thing installed.Yes, it looks wonderful.Yes, it works wonderfully. Not too much light for the room, equivalent to the ceiling fan/lamp it replaced.Yes, the three light options (yellow light/bright light/soft light) are excellent.Yes, the fan is silent, create a great bit of air, and it's fun watching them expand and retract.Installation took 6+ hours of trial and error. Two steps forward, one step back. I *THINK* this is the right screw/bolt/part, etc., I can't tell because we don't have a flipping parts list. No, we have to take it down again and do this instead. No, that's wrong. Etc.Would have been so much easier with instructions. And a parts list/instructions would have solved all of it.

Great Look & fan is very quiet
I love the Tiffany style lamps and this fan fit perfectly in our breakfast nook. I must admit that I needed an extension tube and wiring kit to finish installation, which I had done by a pro. It was necessary to install afan electrical box to make sure the fan was secure and we would not experience any issues. I feel it was stilla very good deal.If you decide to let a pro do it that would be very wise of you.
