Excellent Pen
This pen is easy to use I got for my mum as she has terrible arthritis in her hand with this pen she has no trouble at all when she writes nowThis pen is a must for any arthritis sufferer or anyone who has trouble holding pens

Not good for arthritis deformed fingers.
I can see this would be good for some people. My nan has quite deformed fingers from arthritis and couldn't get her index or middle finger through the top section and then connect with the pen. It was quite frustrating for her as she really wanted to be able to use it. I could see it'd be a good design for someone who could get a finger through and resting on the pen to guide it rather than grip it. Wouldn't recommend for someone whose fingers aren't reasonably straight.

Yes it's a lot easier to hold with painful arthritic hands but the nib/ball point part doesn't move smoothly. Holding this pen (as intended) with arthritic hands, means that the pen is held lower/ less vertically than a normal pen; unfortunately the nib has not been altered to allow this. Shame, as the pen shape design is perfect.

good idea
it is a good idea but it is still too big for my 8 year old who has a very awkard grip - thumb over. thought the pen would get him out of this but he can't hold it correctly due to its size. He may grow into it!!

unclicks so you can't write............
I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and came across these pens on the internet which would be good to use as i have trouble holding things so had struggled to write for the past 5 years and being a secretary was beginning to cause me a lot of trouble, then i came across these pens, first one bought i thought was brilliant, ran out rather quickly but at least I could write again ordered another one, this time colour blue, that broke within 2 days when you tried to write it would click so the you couldn't write covering the pen even though you never press the button...so refilled the red pen I first pen putting me onto one pen for home and work...as work wouldn't buy me the pen to use...then i bought the ink refills, unfortunately only 1 ink refill worked the other didn't when i went to use it...This time again recently just bought the red pen again as obviously 1 pen isn't enough received this last week and unfortunately yet again it clicks to cover and you can't write with the pen again - hint wonder why its called pen again - you need to keep replacing it and keep buying pens that don't work - not good, i am having to use a normal pen at the moment scribbling and hurting my hands whilst trying to hold the pen at work - become a nightmare think it maybe time to look for something else again...defo going to cause me problems at work so will need to resolve this problem asap...- pity i thought when i first found this pen it was going to change my working life!!!

This really is the best thing since sliced bread
This really is the best thing since sliced bread!! :)With a limited grip I had found holding a pen very hard let alone writing with it, but with this you do not need to be able to grip at all.It does look like a spaceship this is true and many people look at it in disbelief until they try it. It doesn't matter what angle you would usually hold a pen or if you are right or left handed this pen works perfectly with very little effort.Would recommend to everyone

Penagain.
This is a good send for my daughter who has DCD (dyspraxia) she struggles to hold pens correctly and her written work was unreadable which resulted in lost marks during exams. Teachers have told me that they have seen a 100% improvement in her work. Absolutely brilliant pen would also be ideal for arthritic people who struggle holding pens.

Bit hard to get used to
I bought this for my mum who suffers from arthritis thinking it may help her in writing, but she couldn't get used to it, it was still putting too much pressure on the finger joints. I did use it myself and found it strange, but a great idea and sure after a time it would be easy to use, but unfortunately not for an arthritis sufferer.

Stylo ergonomique
