Great Quality
Was skeptical at first, but I’ve used this GI top jacket and it has been super comfortable and very durable. Super impressed at the quality. Lightweight and fits right. Only thing is I’m an A2, I ordered one and it was super tight. I had to order an A3 and shrink it and it was perfect after that. I would absolutely order this again. Great product.

Runs huge
I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about with this running small. Mine is huge.I normally wear A3 pants and am in between an A2 and A3. I’ve found for inverted gear, their preshrunk A2 fits perfect. But for some other brands like ZeroG I wear an A3. For scale I’m 5’11” and 190-200lbs typicallyI just got this in the mail, it feels great but is an absolute TENT on me. I’m undecided if I’m going to swap it out or just try to hot wash shrink itEdit— went ahead and shrunk it. Double wash on warm water and dryer dried. Fits perfect now.

Sizing off
A3 jacket was way too big. If I shrank it, it would still be too big, A2 perfect fit without washing. If it shrank it would be too small. Seems like the sizing is in-between

Good quality
took a LONG time to arrive but very happy with the quality and the design, very light also.

Material is nice, relatively lightweight feeling. Sizing is weird.
I followed the size guide and it put me in an A2, but my arms felt suffocated but also swallowed by the sleeve length. The shoulders were a bit tight, and the length was somewhat short. I also could not close the kimono enough. I felt like I was in an A1 with A3 length sleeves. Build quality is good, but sizing is weird. I feel I may have received a defective return based on the packaging and the faint scent of detergent, but there is nothing on the kimono that I can see that would verify that. I will be trying an A3 next to see if that is a better fit. For what it’s worth the pants were the right size for me per the size guide, and I have some pretty meaty legs.

Great fit!
I recently changed BJJ gyms and my coats had all their patches on it. So I was thrilled when I found I could buy just the jacket. At first I thought the sleeves were going to be too long. But once I got the jacket all the way on, it fit perfectly. I bought the blue and the white one. And the colors match my pants perfectly. I also love the print on the back of the jacket "Fight for it". Yup. Will do.

Overall Great GI top for the price
UPDATE AFTER (nearly) 3 MONTHS: I still love this gi. It has become my main gi and still feels great. This is a great middle ground between my heavier gi (Scramble Base-K) and my lighter gi (A&P) and I love that its not as easy to grip as the A&P, but more breathable than the Scramble gi. The gi has shrunk just a very small amount even with cold wash and air dry.***********************************************************************************************************************I needed a blue A2 GI top and this was a great price. I have now worn and washed it, and air dried it and I can say that there was little to no shrinkage. It was very comfortable to roll in the only negative I can point out is that it didnt breathe very well. That really isnt a huge deal to me as if you're doing BJJ right, you're gonna start sweating eventually anyway. For anyone looking for sizing, I am 6ft 187 pounds. The cuffs hit right at my wrist so i'd say if you're much taller and/or heavier maybe go up a size or you might not make the sizing restrictions that some tournaments have.Overall great GI, will update in a couple of months once I have broken it in and will comment on durability/comfort.

Quality Gi
I'm familiar with Sanabul products, and have liked anything I've gotten from them, but this gi is at least a step or two above my expectations. Looks awesome, for one. Very heavy-duty, durable material. Has a rough texture to the outside, that I imagine will work really well for grinding elbows and/or raking across the skin, making things pretty uncomfortable for your opponent.Seems to run a tad bit small, though? I'm going to have to check the measurements and come back to update. Looked like I was in-between sizes, and opted for the bigger size. Glad I did. Was worried that it would be too big, but seems about right. Length is shorter on me than I thought it would be. Not enough to deduct a star for, but something to consider when choosing a size. If you get the right one, I think you'll be pleased with it. Especially if/when you reap the benefits of that nasty rough texture. I Dig It 👍
