Q: Is there any way to use this with an ethernet connection instead of wifi? is there another probe available that can measure temp' below -55 c?

To connect this to a wired ethernet connection, you can use a device like TP-Link N300 Wireless Portable Nano Travel Router(TL-WR802N). For less then $30, you can connect this to the wired connection and this will communicate with the wireless device.

Q: How does it monitor power outage? Does it have batteries to send alerts when it loses power?

The device uses (3) AAA batteries (included) so that it can connect to the MySpool servers for reporting to the contacts you specify. BTW: My device has performed flawlessly since purchase in April, 2021. Excellent device and top notch company.

Q: Can the temperature range be set to alert outside a +60F to +95F range?

Yes, the recommended range is -10 C to + 85 C which is 14F to 185F.

Q: can you get longer waterproof temp sensors?

These sensors are custom made for MySpool. If you require thousands of them, contact us directly.
