I recently took my Vera Bradley Featherweight Backpack on a trip to Disney, and it proved to be a fantastic companion for a full day of adventure. Here’s a detailed rundown of my experience with this bag:Pros:Lightweight and Comfortable: As the name suggests, this backpack is incredibly lightweight. Even when fully packed, it felt comfortable to carry around all day. The straps are well-padded, which made it easy on my shoulders.Perfect Size: The backpack is just the right size for a day out. I managed to fit full water bottles and all the necessities for two adults without it feeling bulky. It strikes a great balance between being spacious enough to carry everything you need and compact enough to take on rides.Convenience: The design and pockets of the backpack are well thought out, allowing for easy organization of items. Quick access to essentials like water bottles and snacks made the day smoother.Cons:Durability of the Top Hook: My only complaint is the durability of the top hook. After just one day of use, the top hook began to rip. I didn't carry the bag by the hook; it was only used for hanging the bag occasionally, such as while using the restroom. It’s disappointing that this part of the bag didn’t hold up better.Conclusion:Despite the issue with the top hook, the Vera Bradley Featherweight Backpack is a fantastic choice for a day out, whether it's at Disney or anywhere else. Its lightweight nature and comfortable design make it ideal for carrying all day, and it’s just the right size for fitting all your essentials without being cumbersome. I wish the top hook had been more durable, but overall, it’s a great bag that served its purpose well on my trip. I highly recommend it for those looking for a light and comfortable backpack for day trips.

Not very durable. Looking to add a few light items it will work okay.

This is so soft and lightweight. It's just like a nice puffer jacket or vest. The straps are on the thin width-wise but have plenty of padding to be comfortable to wear for a long time or with any sort of weight in it.2 cupholder pockets are nice. While a 40oz Stanley *can* fit, it doesn't go down the whole way because of the closed handle. If you have an open-handled straw cup (I have a 40oz Hydraflow from Sam's), it fits perfectly. Large closed bottles like Owala fit fine, as well.The front zip pocket has a mesh pouch that goes about 2/3 the way up and the whole way across the pocket.The main compartment doesn't have any organization besides a separate zipper pocket in the back. I can easily stuff in a packable down jacket (Men's M) or my winter jacket (Women's L) but that takes up all of the room. You could still squeeze a wallet, keys, phone, etc. If you folded or rolled it, you may be able to get more space in it but I am the type of person that will literally just shove it in my bag since it won't wrinkle.Overall, LOVE this. Will be going with me on short hikes and city trips this fall and winter.

The cord on the side zipper pocket snapped on 2nd day of use. Nice material decent size but not worth the money in my opinion.
