It's Wayne Bergeron, perhaps the greatest commercial lead trumpeter of our time! Buy it!If an old pro like me can learn something, I'm certain any trumpet player who picks this up will!! Outstanding!!! Yes it would be nice if it came with a pamphlet with some of his exercises in it, but still a great video! I played lead for Buddy Rich in 1984 and with Frank Sinatra from 1985-1991 and since on 4 Broadway shows so I know a little bit of which I speak here!

This is just a DVD of Wayne talking about how he approaches playing lead trumpet. I expected this to come with a play-along book. It did not include the book.

I didn`t know what to expect from this DVD. I love Wayne`s playing but hadn`t seen him teach. He breaks down concepts and exercises that he uses in a clear and concise way. This DVD would be useful for intermediate-advanced players across the range of trumpet styles.

Alles wird sehr gut erklärt u man kann sich viel abschauen. Ich kann diese DVD nur sehr Empfehlen, da Sie mir ein genauenÜberblick in Sachen Ausdruck, Interpretation, Material, sei es Dämpfer oder Instrumente, einfach nur genial.

Firstly, the content of the book seems good but I don't propose to review it because it is unusable as a play along because the TNT2 software no longer works. To use it you have to install it on a PC (my Mac OS is out of date so it doesn't even recognize it as a DVD) and there is no option to access audio files which would play on a standard CD player. When it did work (2 days) there were options to speed up or slow down the tempo and to mute tracks. However I couldn't figure out how to use the loop feature and the Help was no help! I prefer to use Audacity which I can use for all my CDs and which I am familiar with. I had the same problem with another Belwin title.
