Nexus 60 cm Speaker Stands in Black

I have rated these at 3 stars due to QC problems. Read on. The stands come flat packed and need assembly which should be straight forward and requires only set screws to be screwed into pre-cut threads. Shame the screws didn't screw in and I had to sort out the thread myself. One upright on each stand has holes for cables which is good and the stands are in a nice 'crackle' black finish. And that introduces another problem - the supplied stick-on badges don't stick to the crackle finish and within 24 hours are curled up like a dead caterpillar - if you want to use them, try thin double-sided adhesive tape. The supplied speaker mounts are fine if you want to use them but I used blu-tack instead as this secures the speakers to the stands whilst also providing isolation - it is also possible to fill the top centres of the supplied speaker mounts with blu-tack possibly to even better effect. Good product spoiled by a couple of rather basic problems.

Nice steady and easy to build stand. Perfect height as it brings my MA Bronze 2 tweeters to ear level and to the same height as my floor standing speakers (MA Bronze 6). I also bought the stick-on atacama gel pads to reduce vibrations against the stand. The built in cable management helps to hide the cables and big enough to accommodate 4mm cable. I would definitely recommend.
