These do the exact job they were designed to do, which is hold micro centrifuge tubes for a scientific chemistry and/or biology lab.They ARE NOT for filling capsules, because THEY WERE NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS PURPOSE. It's amazing how well things work when we use them for their intended purpose, isn't it? In fact, leaving a bad review for an item not doing things it does not claim to is....not helpful. Let's make sure we review the item for what it claims to do, not unrelated side projects.

Pay a little extra and get a better set up! The pills would get stuck in one side or the other when compressing and would crack 1/2 of them each time and made an absolute mess.

Was looking on Amazon and couldn't find size 0 capsule holder. Came across this item which is intended for pipettes. It's too deep for a normal capsule. But put Elmer's glue in the hole a quarter to half way up, allow to dry, viola. Now capsules to be placed in it, filled (or prefilled from a portion of another capsule), then push on cap. Able to do 60 caps at a time now.

Title says it all. Filling capsules is not its intended purpose. Can you use it for that? Yes, but it will take forever and some capsules will get stuck and you’ll have to fight to get them free. So if you are looking for something for capsule filling, just buy a capsule machine. You can find them for under $30 that fill 24 at a time or for $40 one that fills 100 at a time.

Item arrived in a timely manner.It is heavy weight and good size.

Cons: These are horse pill sized — which is useless.Pro: The thick plastic means these could be used as pickleball paddles instead. Spiking a ball into your opponent at the net worthy.Yes I tried all 4 sides. This is for making pills for horses; not humans. Probably for stuff in the range of 200-1000mg.
