Perfect Gift
I purchased this e-bike as a Christmas gift for my son and it has exceeded our expectations. The bike arrived exactly as described on Amazon. It was easy to assemble (less than an hour to put together) and the instructions were clear and straightforward. My son loves riding it and it's been a hit since he first saw it under the tree. Overall, the e-bike has been a great purchase and my son has enjoyed riding it.

Cheap, but can be a gamble in the long run
With prices of more name brand e-bikes exceeding $1,000, the VIVI seems like a bargain. Everything arrives in one box and assembly was straightforward. For features like a suspension fork, disc brakes, 48v motor and large battery this definitely packs a lot for the money. What you do lose for a cheap price is the availability of service for the bike, replacement parts, and ultimately warranty.I purchased this bike off Amazon and after a safety check by a technician we found that the rear wheel has a wobble. The package was not damaged and it appeared to be a QA or manufacturing defect.I contacted VIVI and after providing a video and the information they needed, they could not locate my order. The purchase was through Amazon Fulfillment directly with Prime, and they essentially will not support the bike after sales unless you purchase it directly from VIVI.The bike is literally 1 week old and was checked by a bike tech who determined it was a QA issue, and the company would not stand behind it. Replacement parts are also very expensive and have to come from overseas. So, was it worth the price? Yes and no. If you get a good one (like many here did) it's a bargain for a basic e-bike.If you have a problem though, expect most bike shops to not service it and possibly get pushback from VIVI on honoring their warranty. Their support team also appears to be overseas as response emails usually come through overnight in my case.In my situation, instead of taking the risk of fighting with VIVI over a claim and parts that may take weeks to arrive I filed for a return with Amazon directly.I really wanted to like this bike for the cost, but the lack of support and options for parts/service was a deal breaker for me.

Good bike, requires partial assembly, and some steps are a little challenging.
The media could not be loaded. I was very hesitant to buy a eBike online. But this eBike was priced well. It arrived ontime via FedEx, (although the optional free bike lock, also shipped via FedEx, has yet to arrive and appears to be lost in transit). I was impressed with how well it was packed, and I was happy that nothing was broken or scratched. You do have to assemble a number of componnts of the eBike, and while I was enventually able to figure it out, I am not sure that everyone would be as successful given the lack of details in the instructions. In addition, if you don’t have a bike mount to hold the bike while you assemble it, you really should have a second person to steady the bike as you put on the front wheel and handle bars. As I was assembling the eBike, I was happy with the quality of the materials and contruction. While they provided the necessary tools to assemble the bike, you will most definitly need a good pair of scissors or sharp knife to cut through the dozen or so zip cords that securly tie all the components together. While I expected to find a rear red reflector to mount on the stem of the seat, I was surprised that the battery had a key to disable it from powering the bike, a bell, and a front light that runs off the same batttery. Both tires required air, the chain was off the front gear and it was very challenging to get the chain back onto the gear. I would recommend the eBike if you feel you are up to the challenge of assembling the bike yourself to save some money.

I love the bike, it looks nice and is pretty easy to assemble. My only gripe would be that the wheels are not true, but I was kind of expecting that after reading the reviews before I made the purchase.

Tires and tire tunes blew within 2 weeks
The tires and both tire tube's blew within 2 weeks the first tire just the second day. After we replaced them we haven't had any issues. Also we noticed one of the peices was assembled wrong before it was delivered. We fixed it after the first tire and tube blew.
