It’s been very convenient to garden with this apron. I’m a big guy at over 6ft tall so I was afraid it wouldn’t fit very well, but it has been comfortable to wear. The side pockets are also deep enough that I can carry a water bottle with me to keep hydrated while I’m working outdoors, something my last gardening belt wasn’t able to offer. Very happy with this purchase!

This was a gift from my best friend and it’s my go-to when I’m working in my vegetable garden now. It frees up my hands and I don’t need to make multiple trips back and forth and lug around a bag anymore. The straps are strong and sewn in nicely, so everything’s been holding up really well. I feel and look good in it too!

This is an extremely well-made gardening apron. The material is of a high quality with many wonder details like leather reinforcements, metal hardware and water resistant coatings. It’s very comfortable and should last a very long time. At $30 (at the time of this review) — it’s a great value too! I wanted to love it!But… it’s not going to work for smaller items like apples. (Which are not even that small compared to berries and tomatoes.)You can see the problem I the listing photo… the flap that folds up for the Quick Release Function, forming a faux bottom, doesn’t come up high enough, and there are gaps in the two “corners” it creates. Items the size of large apples slip out of those corners when the pouch gets too full.I wore the apron while up high on a tall orchard ladder. I expected to be able to fill the pouch with apples before climbing back down. After picking 8-10 (about 1/3 full), some apples started escaping from the gaps in the bottom corners and falling to the ground.Seems like this apron is therefore limited… I could use it to harvest greens and root veggies with stalks attached… but fruit and mid-size items like tomatoes and peppers… not so much. I think I’d the flap extended higher or couple be tightened down more as the pouch expands, might fix it.

When weeding I could easily put the weeds into my pouch and keep on going. Saves time and makes the process more efficient. When I’m ready to dump it into the lawn bag it’s super easy to release the pouch contents.The pouch for my phone was also really convenient instead of having to keep it in my pocket.

The media could not be loaded. We have a medium garden and chickens. I’ve used my apron to gather my vegetables and to gather eggs. When it is clipped up items do not fall out. I have washed it and it line dried well!

This is an easy recommendation for anyone who likes to work in the garden. My wife was skeptical, but within minutes of it being delivered, she put it on and loved it. I read through the details in the listing and would agree with all of them.The fit is universal with lots of adjustment to accommodate most body types and comfort. There is a lot of extra length strap provided. We ended up cutting it to length and then taking a lighter and running it over the cut edges to seal and keep from fraying.The pouch is a clever and simple design. It's open across the bottom. You roll/fold it up and clip to secure. Because it's folded, nothing falls out until you unclip it and unfold the pouch to empty the contents. My wife uses the pouch to harvest vegetables, but she also uses it when she's pruning.There are extra pockets which are like having cargo shorts. Great for carrying all sorts of stuff, including pruning shears. The canvas material is a nice quality and it's obvious this will last with minimal care. My wife has it hanging in her greenhouse and it just looks like it belongs there.If you're a gardener, you'll love this. It would also make a nice gift and would be easy to ship. Highly recommend. This apron is designed so that its front drape wraps back up from the bottom and is clipped to the rest, creating a pouch which can easily hold a gallon or more of fresh vegetables. I used it this past summer to grab lots of cucumbers, squash, okra, and beans and was very pleased to have it since it can hold as much as a hefty basket but leaves your hands free. It would make a good gift for a vegetable gardener, especially if they have a strong back and can load it up.

Which is a good thing since I got it for him. I have one too, but he can't wear comfortably as the strap is just a little too short. The pouch for gathering fruit works well and the straps to keep it closed are positioned just right so the fruit doesn't push its way out the bottom. Another good thing as the one I have does have a problem with that. It seems to be well constructed, is easy to clean, fits and works well. What more can one ask for?
