Love this recipe box! Looks great with other decor in my kitchen. Holds a lot of recipe cards, probably way more than needed and I doubt I'll ever completely fill it up, but I cook a lot more than I used to and it's nice knowing I have plenty of room to build up my recipe collection. I ordered 4 or 5 extra packs of matching recipe cards and divided up the blank ones into all the sections behind the written recipes in each section. Makes it easier to see the tabs and find what I need having them full enough to space them out more.

This was a going away gift for a co-worker who loves to cook. I found the box to be sturdy and will hold several hundred recipe cards. I know in this digital age that a lot of recipes are found online and lots of people use their phones and tablets but sometimes getting those favorite recipes written by your family and friends and kept for years in "The Recipe Box" is one thing that memories are made from. I can still remember hunting up the chocolate chip cookie recipe card when I was a kid. It was smudged and had worn corners but that was the recipe card we followed every time we baked those cookies. Somethings just can not be replaced by technology. This box was purchased with some additional matching cards and plastic sleeves. Everyone at worked donated a favorite recipe or two for her box and it is a gift that will continue to give over the years as she continues to fine tune her baking skills and collects more of those special dishes that become traditions.

For the money I'm not disappointed, but be aware that the top appears to be a plasticized paper over padding. Not a lifetime box. But looks nice sitting on my desk and for the price I won't mind replacing it down the road.

I bought this recipe box for my daughter as a housewarming present when she moved to her first apartment. The black and red color scheme fits well with my 22 year old's color choices and the box, is made out of durable, heavy weight cardboard with a stain resistant covering and is resistent enough to opening that it doesn't open if the box falls over. I was afraid she might think it was outdated, since she uses "pintrest" and "dropbox" when she lived at home for her recipes. But, she was very excited to receive it, reminding me that I would no longer be available to quickly give her a recipe off the top of my head whenever she wanted to cook something. Also, the recipe dividers have conversion charts written on them, which would be helpful for anyone. I am getting ready to order more recipe cards will likely order another one of these to replace the smaller, worn out file box that I have.

Love this recipe box. It has a very cute design and seems sturdy enough to stand the test of time. I also bought the matching recipe cards and filled them with our family recipes and sent them to my 21-year old daughter on her first Thanksgiving away from family. She loved it! It is a very big box so double check to make sure it is the size you want. I liked the size because I could fit all of the instructions on one recipe card!

Wish I'd known it was an easily damaged cardboard box before purchasing it.. Cute design, just don't think it'll last.

This is a very sturdy box. I also bought alphabetical dividers. I keep it next to my computer. I use it to keep my passwords listed, with a 4x6 index card for each account and I can change the passwords as needed.

Love this recipe box! Super cute design and the cards are a wonderful size. Recipes fit on them great. Premade tabs keep everything looking neat and organized to make recipes easy to find! Looking forward to filling up my box with recipes in the future!

It is large sized so will hold a lot of recipes, comes with recipe cards and dividers, so great value. I am pleased.
