Easy to program
I needed an intervalometer to take multiple long exposure photographs over time. This device works great! The backlit screen is easy to read and the camera can be controlled either wirelessly or by cable.

Just like the wired version: hard to use, but wireless transmitter/receiver ARE useful.
I've had the wired version of this intervalometer for years. Wanted to go wireless for the recent total solar eclipse, so picked this up. See photo.I have always found the operation of this product to be very UN-intuitive and cryptic, and this product is identical to the wired version in its operation. I wanted to use my Canon EOS R's internal image setup (7 bracketed shots separated by one EV), but I couldn't get the AODELAN product to allow for this. It only seems to work when it is in charge. In other words, I couldn't do exposure bracketing, and this was essential for my images of the solar eclipse.I wanted to take a burst of 7 exposure bracketed images every minute. All I could get this product to do is take one image every second. This meant it would take one set of images in 7 seconds, then immediately start another set of 7 images. Not even close to what I wanted. Plus, since I planned on combining multiple images into one final photo, it was critical that as little time pass between images as possible. There is a function called BKLN that I could not figure out that MIGHT do what I wanted to, if only I could determine how to use it.Oh, BTW, the instructions aren't very good, either. So, what I ended up doing was just using the transmitter as a wireless shutter, and just holding the shutter/remote button down for a couple seconds, which would take the 7 bracketed shots in a burst. Now, to be honest, this WAS very useful. The range on this remote (60m) is far greater than the BlueTooth remote shutter I already have, and this allowed me to wander around the eclipse site, and visit with other, while still being able to fire the shutter. So, in summary, if you already know how to use the AODELAN intervalometer, or can figure it out, adding the wireless remote is a very useful feature.Recommended, with reservations.

More powerful intervalometer than the one probably built into your Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera
We create a lot of content for our YouTube channel, Well Travelled Life, and part of that content is creating timelapse videos of our destinations and trips. Or getting that one great shot if you're into night sky photography. This Canon-compatible intervalometer has a lot more options, flexibility and functionality than the software built into your camera. There's a bit of a learning curve involved in getting the full use of this device, but that's true of most great equipment. And this is a great piece of equipment. Recommended.

Works very well
I got this mainly for the interval feature which works great! You can set a continuous shutter to take a bunch of photos with a set time in between each which is great when I need to do my own photoshoot. Plus it also works great as a regular remote shutter. The range on this is very good and as long as I had a direct line of sight it worked and was very responsive. There are a good amount of settings on this as well if you want to do long exposure and other types of shots. This is a great addition to my camera bag as another tool I have at my disposal.

Doesn’t mount to any camera
The hotshoe mount doesn’t actually fit into your camera. It’s the wrong shape and style. It doesn’t mount in either of my cameras. I returned the original I bought and ordered a new one hoping it would fit and it is exactly the same as the first. The only thing that changes is the cable. You’re paying for a “wireless” adapter that doesn’t even hook up to the camera. Might as well just buy a normal wired intervalometer for less than half the price of this.

Remote quit pairing with receiver
The unit worked for a few uses and then the receiver quit pairing with the remote after 45 days. The signal meter shows nothing. Only the wired operation works now. Tried resetting the receiver channel using the process in the manual and used fresh batteries, but I cannot get the wireless feature to work. There is no way to contact the seller after the fact.

Awesome!
Works perfectly! Connected easily to my camer. Easy to set up and use. The app my camera system uses is absolutely useless so this comes in really handy! And at a great price as well
