Ghostly men
So, this cozy mystery with right amount of fun, romance and spice with small town atmosphere was the perfect book to read for the Halloween month.

Totally engaging
First in the Grimdale Graveyard Mysteries and what a start. Like her Nevermore Bookstore series I fell in love with the characters and storyline.Bree returns home to her family home after 5 years of travelling the world. A home she wasn't sure she would return too after the heartache she suffered as a child. Bullied because she could see ghosts, she ran away leaving behind her ghostly friends. But on her return she is no longer the 'child' they remembered. She's grown into a beautiful woman they can't resist. Pax is a Roman centurion killed fighting the druids, Edward a hedonistic, spoilt medieval Prince and Ambrose a blind Victorian adventurer. Then an elderly neighbour is murdered and his ghost begs Bree to solve the crime in order to save his wife and cross over. We get to once again meet the 'gang' of the Nevermore Bookstore in the course of their investigation....

You want more.
Returning to your home that you left in desperation. Only to find that running was pointless and that this is your home.

A mix of coming home and new elements and characters
Once more it was love at first sight from the very first page. The author has an amazing way of introducing us to the heroine of the story and although we're already familiar with the town it feels like we get to see an entirely new part of town with an entirely new cast of characters. This book is mostly about getting to know the characters, their history, their relationship and their wants, needs and worries. The author does an amazing job telling us everything we need to know without making it feel like info-dumping. Our heroine herself is likable, realistic and most of all the kind of character a lot of people will recognize themselves in.
