Small town nanny X single dad perfection
Is it possible to get sick of the single dad x nanny troop? Because if it is I haven't reached that point yet. After seeing Forbidden Heart everywhere, and seeing how pretty this cover is, I couldn't resist buying a physical copy of this book, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.I'm not convinced it was a forbidden book though - she's his nanny and his bosses daughter but that to me feels more like an inconvenience that you need to deal with rather than forbidden…..or maybe I just read too many dark morally gray books that I've lost sight of a more everyday forbidden🤣 Nevertheless it's brilliant. What I loved best was I absolutely did not see the third act twist coming, I thought it was obvious what was going to happen….it wasn't!!! It caught me totally off guard in the best way.The characters have depth and are well written, and the story is properly fantastic. You will not regret reading this book asap, it's a great read

Loved this story!
“Forbidden Hearts" by Corinne Michaels, the inaugural book in the Whitlock Family series, introduces readers to a captivating love story. Phoebe, a 24-year-old graduate student aspiring to be an audiologist, becomes the unexpected nanny for Olivia, the daughter of Asher, a grumpy 38-year-old cop and single dad.4⭐️2.5🌶️The plot delves into the challenges of their unconventional connection. Asher, initially hesitant due to professional concerns and the age difference, finds Phoebe's maturity and commitment to Olivia endearing. Phoebe, portrayed as clumsy and irresponsible, overcomes judgments and strives to create a better future after leaving a challenging situation in Iowa. The romance, a slow burn with balanced plot and spice, unfolds beautifully. Asher's protective nature and Phoebe's sunshine attitude create a compelling dynamic. The story doesn't shy away from addressing the challenges faced by the deaf community, highlighting Phoebe's aspiration to be a valuable resource. The book beautifully illustrates that love often arrives when least expected, and life's detours may lead to fulfilling goals. Asher's filthy talk adds fire to the romance, enhancing the overall experience. The narrative provides insights into family dynamics, portraying Asher's devotion to Olivia and the complexities of navigating unexpected love."Forbidden Hearts" succeeds not only as a romance novel but also as a portrayal of community challenges and personal growth. I look forward to exploring the next book in the series.

Love a Grumpy Single Dad
RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥Well hello Corinne Micheals!!! I’m just racking up on some amazing new to me authors lately and Corinne is just another one to add to the list! I enjoyed this book a ton and the writing style is fantastic and keeps you wanting more! This is an age-gap, small town single dad, grumpy/sunshine, boss’s daughter, nanny romance and every single of of these tropes is just on point! And holy hell third act plot twist!!! I’m not going to spoil it, but needless to say it was a shocker.I loved Phoebe and Asher’s story. I loved the sass, the banter and the emotional connection they had with each other. I also really loved Olivia (way to go for ASL rep) and how Asher cared for her and made her his priority, and how Phoebe connected with her as well. Asher is loyal to a fault and grumpy and hot and just all the things. Phoebe is a bit of a mess but she really grew on me as the book progressed.I loved the build up to them getting together, and then once they had to fight for each other, ugh, just god, all the emotions. I cannot wait for more from the Whitlock family and thoroughly enjoyed this one. And Corinne warn a girl next time with the surprises 😮 the plot twist wasn’t something I normally go for but the resolution was perfect so I was a fan.If you like grumpy hot dads and small town romance, put this on on your list. I need more so badly.

Beyond in love with Asher
I don’t even know where to begin. Asher Whitlock is a cop in charge of the local SWAT team, and when his ex needs to travel overseas for the summer and plans fall through, he finds himself in need of a nanny. And not just any nanny, but one who knows ASL and can communicate with his sweet daughter, Olivia. Enter his boss’s daughter, Phoebe Bettencourt, who is in school for audiology and knows ASL.𝘐𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘤 𝘭 𝘰 𝘶 𝘥 𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴 𝘶 𝘯.I’ll get to the romance in a second, but I must say that the Deaf/ASL rep was wonderfully done in this book. While I am not Deaf, I am hard of hearing and 100% deaf in one ear. As a whole, my experiences were very different from Olivia’s as I do still have one functioning ear. But there were a couple of moments in this book that really hit home and brought me to tears, both with Liv’s experience and the way that Phoebe addressed things, as well as how it mirrored some similar moments of my own. Olivia is just such a wonderful character.𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐'𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶.I have recently become a big fan of Corinne’s writing, and she continues to knock it out of the park. Phoebe is so strong as she emerges from a not-so-pleasant experience at school, and Asher is so protective and swoon-worthy. Not to mention they both love and protect Olivia so well. And the banter! I loved watching their relationship develop from going at each others’ throats to going at each others’ throats. 😏 I cannot say enough good things about this book!𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀:🤟 single dad x nanny☀️ grumpy x sunshine🤟 age gap☀️ forced proximity🤟 small town☀️ no third act breakup🤟 Deaf/hard of hearing/ASL rep
