Speeds up installation of bearing races
Used to install a couple suspension forks on electric bikes. Shortened the fork tube bearing races to just a few in minutes. Well worth the time savings

Exactly what I needed!!!
I bought a new 130mm travel suspension fork recently for my XC/Trail bike. Unfortunately, it did not come with a race or star nut. This is the first time I've had to install a new race and I know a lot of people use a piece of PVC pipe or something similar, but I've also heard and seen a lot of destroyed or warped races using those methods....I decided a race installation tool would make a great addition to my bike tool box and I could get the job done right. I looked around and the prices ranged from ridiculous to "how good is it if it's that cheap"...So, I chose based on price and reviews and this one seemed to be exactly what I needed. I have Prime, so it arrived quickly. It worked so well that it literally took less than a minute to install the 1.5 inch race! So yes....I would recommend this product!

good value
Didn't want to spring for the pricey park tool, for the few times a year I need this...worked fine, as long as you grease up the race well.

Excellent tool to do the job properly
I've been building and restoring bikes as a hobby for years and have always installed fork crown races in a haphazard way using lengths of pipe or automotive tools. Decided for my most recent build to invest in a proper setting tool and bought this tool. The tool is versatile in that it works for the three common sizes used on bicycle forks. It seems to be well made and well designed and worked like a charm for me. I'd say that that cost vs efficiency makes this a great product and I expect to be using it from here going forward. The tool was supplied quickly and efficiently and barely slowed down my project at all. Overall this was an excellent shopping experience and the vendor is highly recommended.

Don't waste your money
The tool is made of alloy, it is much too light to tap n a crown race. In addition there is so much slop on the inside that it is impossible to keep it straight, causing the race to go in on an angle.I ended up using a piece of PVC longer than the steerer tube and tapped the race in with a hammer.
