This is the third hat I have bought from Comhats. Previously bought a straw trilby style hat for travel that I lost. Liked it so much that I immediately bought a replacement. This hat will be perfect for hiking in hot weather. Nicely ventilated. Good fit. The quality of the materials and finish is very good. Would recommend this company for those reasons.

I really like this hat. I took it with me on an august trip across continental europe. It helped me keep the sun off my head in a variety of environments and held up really well.I wore it:- On a boat tour, and with the strap it didn't fly away, and when there were splashes of water my head didn't get wet- on a cycle trip, with the strap it didn't fly away and it didn't slide down my head when i was sweating a lot- during everyday normal situations.- in the rain, where it kept my head dry so i didn't have to wear my rain hood - this gave me better visibilityAlso it fit in my cargo shorts pocket when I didn't want to wear it.

Although this is a well made hat with nice detailing, I am disappointed that it is pretty unstructured and a bit ‘floppy’. The wide brim offers good protections from the sun it is essential to use the chin strap to hold it on in even a slight breeze.

Will be great for hiking and outdoors activities; wide brim and comfortable material but still breathable. Is as advertised and I am very happy with it
