NewYall Pack of 2 Right or Left Front Wheel Bearing for Ford C-Max 2013-2018, Escape 2013-2019, Focus 2012-2018, Transit Connect 2014-2018, Lincoln MKC 2015-2019

I bought this pair because I had a single bearing going out on my Ford C-max. However, this style bearing is pressed inside of your steering knuckle, and then the spindle/hub assembly is pressed on the inside of this bearing. Thought I could do this like any other bearing I've done with hand tools but I was sadly mistaken. Had to take this one in to the shop so he could do it on the big press.Assess your capabilities. If you do not have a large auto press for these huge bearings, consider buying the knuckle, bearing and hub fully assembled. Or if you're brave just call around to a few local shops and see if they can do it. If one shop cant do it they usually know who can.Still giving this one five stars thusfar, my mechanic who pressed it said it felt like a solid, new bearing and commented "if it feels like its lubes with honey, thats how its supposed to feel."But at home mechanics be warned! This is partially a shop job.

Should have known better than to buy parts from a fake Amazon brand like "Newyall". Bearing popped while driving 35, and immediately started grinding. Will have to wait 5 days for replacements, and hopefully we can get the (new) spindle separate from the bearing race without damage so it can be reused.After removing the spindle and inspecting the bearings, you can see in the photos where the price point is. The factory bearing has a much thicker bearing race (almost 4mm extra on one side, 8mm overall), which would support lateral loads better. Worse, removing this has become an issue since there is no longer a surface to press the old bearing out, as the race only sticks out into the bore a MM or 2, and there is little to catch a press cup on. One of the bearings was even split in 2, and showed heavy pitting.We are done buying parts from Amazon until they get some self respect and stop allowing "brands" that only exist as a way to dump Chinese product here.(Update) After returning these broken bearings, my Amazon account was flagged, and now any return gets insulting messages about "you need to return all items unused and whole".Auto parts sellers like this give our industry a bad name, and should be run out of business / town.

I like that the item came fastWhat I dislike is I had a bad bearing but the seller stepped up and sent me 2 replacements awesome seller. Perfect fit and great quality.

Been Driving with it over a week and have had no problems.

I missed the window to send this junk back and now I'm stuck with it. I guess trashing is what I'll do. Better to have it broke while putting on then when it was on the vehicle to cause an accident.

I got the ball joint installed and it didn’t even make it off the lift had to go buy a new one the bearing separated.
