The American Journey: A History of the United States, Teaching and Learning Classroom Combined Volume, 3rd Edition Paperback – January 1, 2004

We used this textbook as a second copy so that my daughter could take notes and highlight the important information she wanted to remember. Recommend all freshman have a second copy of this very dense and information filled text book.

I don't particularly care for the twist put on American history, but the book was required for class. I would NOT recommend this text for a good history, but I would recommend buying the text if you are using it for class. It is nice to have a copy of the text at home, so we don't have to haul the school copy home every day.

Even though this book was the 3rd edition(I knew I bought the third) and I needed the fourth. There was not much difference in pages and chapters still made an A in the class.

Had to buy this one for a class, but it is definitely a great resource book for our country's history.
