Battle lines
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The story is great. The artwork is good. There is not a whole lot of action, but character development is awesome and done perfectly.Tony Stark had everything. The a huge company, money, fame and the amour. Now he only has the amour and select few friends. What went wrong? On top of that, he is now being targeted. In every aspect of his life left to him. Now he will fight back, but is it already too late?I really like how Duggan has incorporated Ironman/Tony into the X-MEN universe. The other part that I really liked was Tony psychoanalysing himself. How is he sees himself, how does he differentiate Tony from Ironman. This is a great first volume. I can't wait for the next volume. The book finishes with thumbnail and full page varient covers.

Same old stark
While I did enjoy this book very much it’s the same old Tony every few years they strip him of his wealth and turn everyone against him just like the last run where he thought he knew best for everyone and as cosmic iron man just to put everything back because surprise he didn’t know best and now everyone hates him yet again this has been a pattern that has been repeated since civil war and while the addiction battle that he keeps losing in the last few runs adds a nice touch it just feels like a retread of the obidia stand run where an enemy runs stark industries and takes all his stuff but the art is incredible and the pacing is great so I did give it three stars and is pretty much required reading if your following the x men krokoa series since iron man # 8 is part of fall of x so that makes this run almost required reading if you want the full stories to understand where the steak sentinals come in and to understand everyone’s motivations

Aweful
This was a really badly written graphic novel. There was such a disconnect from the action in a panel to the world around it. Every line of dialogue added too much exposition to what was going on around them even if not needed; stark got shot by an electrical ray then the next panel the villain explains they shot stark with an electrical ray. I haven’t read enough iron heart to have an opinion on her however whenever she appeared in this book the writer feels the need to say she’s so amazing, not show her being amazing just say it. Come off as weak writing. To cap it all off the last comic of the book doesn’t carry on the story line but instead gives a random side story from the past. It’s a shame as the story seems to be building up to a dark reign type story; Tony on the run which to me is the pinacle of iron man but have no faith in this writer. The art was just okay, not good but not awful, just meh.Avoid this one
