Thread Spool Adapters 2 pc.

I checked the size before ordering and they were too small in my large thread spool and wobbled around too much. Very expensive for what you are getting. What they should have done was made this in a cone shape so depending on the size of your thread spool, it will adjust and rest on the part of the adapter it needs. I just tossed them into the sewing box in case I ever need them but am sorry I bought them. Way overpriced.

They are great adapters but unfortunately it wasn’t what I needed. I bought a box of threads that came on 1/2” spools. Too big to sit alone and too small for the cone adaptors. These adaptors are the same size 1/2” and obviously wouldn’t fit in the spools I bought. I’m sure down the road when I purchase more thread that these will be very useful. They did fit on the sewing machine well.

these are great for allowing me to use those taller fat spools of thread with the large hole in the center. Just slip one of these in and you're good to go. These are NOT made to be used in the very tall cones of thread.

I purchased these to use with Coats & Clark machine quilt cotton thread on my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 sewing machine. Although they are a little short for these particular thread spools, the diameter is perfect, and they worked just fine.

This item allows you to use larger spools of thread on your sewing machine by putting this cylinder inside the large whole in your spool of thread, so it fits on your sewing machine. I thought these cylinders were the same size. One fits my larger spool of thread, and the other one is larger than that. So one works great! The other one, I don't have a use for.
