Fits nicely and does what it needs to do. Recommend applying some thread locker. Also be advised that these are reverse threaded to avoid frustrations during installation.

You’re probably here because this piece fell off of your bike and now you can’t remove your cranks.Buy this and the specific tool for this piece, thread it in (left hand threaded) and then try to remove your cranks with an 8mm hex and it will pop right off.

Works on my 12 speed drivetrain
This is a handy tool to have. I work on my own drivetrain and I got this to use on my 12 speed eagle drivetrain. It fits my ¼ inch socket perfectly, and it does the job.

Excellent SRAM Dub Compatible Crank Arm Cap
What it is: Black anodized and machined aluminum reverse threaded SRAM compatible DUB/BB30 crank arm cap. Cap has etched graphics and 4 pins for use with crank arm cap tools.Why I like it: My mountain bike has a SRAM XX1 carbon dub crank set, and uses ca crank arm cap to prevent the crank bolt from backing out. They tool pins on the cap can wear out, making removing and adjusting these a pain. This cap is a cost effective replacement, is threaded properly (reverse threads), and the anodized finish matches well. My Abbey Bike Tools cap wrench fits perfectly. The etched graphics won’t wear off and include the crank bolt wrench size (8mm Hex) as well as the torque specs. For those newer to crank set installation, take note—those torque specs are for the crank bolt only!! Attempting to torque the cap to 54nm will damage the cap and potentially strip the threads in the crank. Overall, a quality alternative for SRAM Dub cranks.
