My toddler attends an outdoor school program and needed chest clips to keep their backpack on while hiking. This worked great! It's held up after being outside for months and I'm extremely satisfied. It also came in their favorite color which is a bonus because not all kids things come in YELLOW!

They slip down the backpack's shoulder strap and need to be readjusted every use. Also, it is very hard to adjust the length of the straps themselves. You have to adjust it once and then put it on the backpack. It is too difficult to adjust while you are wearing them.

Plastic clip broke after a few weeks use by my 4 year old.

My 3 and 4 year old have backpacks that were meant for elementary school kids and we need them to be functional for an upcoming trip across the country. I didn't want the straps falling off of their shoulders in the case of a mad dash through the airport. Enter these buckles. Very sturdy buckles and straps. Very adjustable. I sewed down the "tails" just to ensure they wouldn't slide and get loose. My stitches will come out easily if I need to adjust in the future with a seam ripper. Just what I needed to help make their bags more secure. They both can unbuckle them on their own too so I'd say these are toddler-freindly.

Must have for the backpack that is too big for your child! These easy to put on straps helped my 4 year old sons backpack straps to stay up! The buckle is easy to use. My son is able to open and close it himself. Seems pretty comfortable as he has yet to complain. Even with the bag super heavy, the strap helps with the weight. He’s super thrilled he can wear his favorite bag with any issues!
