The Rolling Square EDGE Pro Full Kit includes a strong 1000-lumen LED light, a magnetic phone holder, and a Qi wireless charger. It is made up of a sleek modular system. It puts your phone next to your laptop at eye level, which is excellent for getting work done and switching between tasks. The N52 magnets hold firmly, and the CNC-machined aluminium parts feel high-end. However, thick cases may make the grip weaker. The wireless charger can charge devices up to 15W, and the light has five brightness and colour settings and can run for up to an hour on a single charge.

It functions pretty well, just make sure your phone's aligned with the magnet so it doesn't drop. Setup is a little confusing if your phone does support Qi2/MagSafe/magnetic holders, since there's then so many superfluous parts - all you need is to stick the plate on your laptop and attach the magnetic core bit. Massive missed opportunity to make the light wirelessly powered/charged from the charger. They do connect, but you have to plug the light itself in (or run from battery). There's also no particular reason (especially if you then couldn't buy the core and the light without the wireless charger) not to have the charger integrated directly into the core: if you don't want to charge, just don't plug it in, it needn't be multiple pieces. Even the short cable is a little longer than necessary, at least on a MacBook Pro, Framework, or any other laptop with USB-C near the back. Not a big deal, just could be tidier. The build quality is not brilliant, quickly accumulating scratches, a glued-on cover on the core plate immediately popping off, and the LED light just seeming a bit 'light' and flimsy. Not *bad*, just not what you expect for the quite steep price (around £70 at time of writing). Overall, it feels like the first pass at a cool concept, that should cost about £15 or else be much better built, and feature more refined design choices such as wirelessly charging light.

This kit allows you to attach your phone to your laptop so that your workspace is easier to control. If you're having to work on your laptop and also use your phone at the same time, this kit means your phone is at a position where you can use both at the same time. The magnetic connections are strong enough to keep your phone secure, there's no risk of it slipping. The light is good if you need to use video calls, there's no need to have other lights sources. It comes in quite a small box, I was surprised at how small the box was, but it had everything needed without a lot of excess packaging. I'm not very tech savvy and don't have many accessories so I'm not sure if this suitably priced, it does seem to be a bit expensive but it may be a case of you get what you pay for and hopefully this is made to last meaning I won't need any other kit in the future. From my first impressions,i was impressed with how compact the packaging was and how easy it was to set up and use. My only concern is the price, but that could be age thing, I'm of an age where I've started to be bothered by the prices of things whereas twenty years ago I wouldn't have thought twice about the price of something if it was what I needed, so I've still awarded this 5 stars because the price issue is something that may not be important to everyone.

ok but the tablet kit doesn't hold the tablet without sagging

Edge Pr Core is a good workstation which fits on to your laptop, tablet or most computers. You can have your phone held magnetically next to your laptop computer screen, you wont have to keep picking it up and putting it down again. Edge Pro Core is designed to attach the magnetic 1000 lumen light and the wireless charger on it so your phone can charge wirelessly. You can change the position of the phone and light to suit yourself. You can use your phone for countless task such as video conferencing or entertainment across screens or even gaming. It's only the width of 2 credit cards so is very thin. It's both robust and versatile, I have found this set up to be wonderful and it saves time. You can be talking on your phone whilst searching for information on the computer so it's time saving too. Being as I am not a technical person I played the short video a few times so that the contents were in my head before I began to set it up, else the video would be playing and I would be messing about wondering what the things on my desk were, so I made sure I had a good idea of everything before I began I suppose in all it took around half to three quarters of an hour, which isn't too bad when you think how good this little set up is and what you can do with it. I was a little reluctant about installing this onto my gaming laptop as I felt it would be "fait acompli" once installed and I would be able to remove it. I installed 2 hinges so that I could use my tablet next to me laptop screen, turning my gaming experience into a wonderful, gaming amazon prime experience. I was so impressed I then set up another for my phone on the other side. Read the instructions prior to installing, and there is also a good YouTube video you can find, and there should be more now. I was a little worried the magnets might damage the screen on both my tablet and laptop but after 5 weeks no such damage. It has turned my laptop into a convenient screen time experience as I work on the go a lot often I use my phone for the actual business meetings and then use my laptop for demonstrations cross platform. I haven't installed the light because I am happy with just the phone and tablet attachment. Recommended, but the price is really high but there isnt another product like this of such quality.

The rolling square edge pro gear is a delight to unpack and use. The devices are delightful to hold and use. There is a common rounded design language in the QI charger and the Video light. There is one other piece in the pack: the Core. This is a MagSafe holder on a hinge that you can stick to your computer or use on a table as a stand for the light. The kit includes a permanent magnetic sticker as well as a non-permanent “suction” sticker that you can attached to the core rather than leave a sticker on your MacBook. This has proven effective for the last week; I stuck it onto the core; and covered up the sticky side with the included cover when it’s not attached to my laptop. It doesn’t leave any residue; and lets me switch from my laptop to external monitor when I want. With the sticker my phone as a continuity camera and have it in a place that lets me sketch diagrams on conference calls and share them. If I use the light, I can get a couple of hours from it. The light works; but it’s very basic controlled by a single button; there is a single button that powers the light on and lets you step through three temperatures with two brightness settings for each. It charges via usb-c. The core attaches well to my MacBook out of a case, though alignment matters – at first it kept slipping off. If you get one adjust the phone until it locks in place. The light has a firm fix and holds itself tightly in place. Sadly, you only get one core in the kit; so, you can use the light or your phone as a continuity camera but not to their best effect. If you want to use the core with a non-apple phone there are a couple of adhesives The qi charger is compact and according to ampere charges my iPhone close to 7.5 watts. It’s a shame that you can’t charge the light with the QI pad, but you can use the usb-c cable to charge both. What the Full kit needs is a couple of the core mounts (even at the expense of the qi pad); two in the kit would let you use them to support an iPad to use them as a screen; or support your phone and the light for conference calls. Both of these would be great use cases for me.

Ich möchte hier jetzt gar nicht viel zu dem Rolling Square Edge Pro Full Kit schreiben, da hier schon einiges gesagt worden ist. Das Full Set beeinhaltet den Ständer, den Wireless Charger und die Lampe. Mittlerweile nutze ich den Ständer tagtäglich und der Wireless Charger kommt bei zwar mir nicht jeden Tag, aber sehr häufig in Kombination mit einer Powerbank zum Einsatz und ist ebenso wie der Ständer ein Dauerbegleiter in meinem Rucksack und genau das ist mein Einsatzgebiet. Ich nutze die beiden Komponenten ausschließlich mobil beim täglichen pendeln und dafür ist es grandios. Der Ständer hält an meinem iPhone 14 Pro super fest und der Charger hält ebenso gut. Was mir hier sehr gut gefällt, dass das USB C Kabel nicht wie beim originalen Apple Magsafe Charger fest sondern eingesteckt wird. Gerade unterwegs ist das für das aufbewahren und auch Haltbarkeit wesentlich besser. Mein Apple Magsafe Charger hatte nämlich irgendwann einen Kabelbruch und war ein Fall für die Tonne. Die Verarbeitung aller Komponenten wie auch das Licht ist sehr gut und da gibt es rein gar nichts zu bemängeln. Auch nicht Apple User können aufgrund diverser aufklebbarer Magnet Ringe ihr Android usw Phone nutzen. Wie das ganze hält kann ich leider nicht sagen, aber ich denke es wird halten. Das Licht hat einen Akku (wird per USB C geladen) integriert und kann per Knopfdruck verschiedene Lichtstärken einstellen. Ich nutze das Licht nicht für Videotelefonie oder ähnliches und kann jetzt daher nicht sagen ob es zu hell oder was auch immer ist. Ich nutze es derzeit abends am Schreibtisch als "kleine Schreibtischlampe" und dafür ist es super. Wenn ich es nicht brauche packe ich es einfach in meine Schublade und gut ist. Am Wochenende waren wir in einem Wohnwagen der im "Küchenbereich" leider sehr dunkel ist und auch hier das hat das Licht in dem Moment einen super Job gemacht. Ob ich es jetzt damit richtig ausnutze sei mal dahin gestellt, aber so erfüllt die Lampe aufgrund der leichten und kompakten Bauform bei mir absolut ihren Zweck und ich bin zufrieden. Preislich gesehen ist es nicht günstig, aber auf der anderen Seite ist halt die Verarbeitung sehr gut und das flexible Einsatzgebiet ist schon eine Ansage und darum geht es ja am Ende des Tages. Ich bin mit dem ganzen Zeit für mein Einsatzgebiet absolut zufrieden.

Avevo grandi aspettative per il Rolling Square Edge Pro Full, soprattutto considerando il prezzo e la reputazione del brand, ma dopo averlo provato devo dire che sono rimasto piuttosto deluso. L’idea è buona, il design è curato, ma nell’uso quotidiano non mi ha convinto. I magneti, che dovrebbero essere il punto forte del prodotto, non sono così affidabili: con smartphone un po’ più pesanti o con cover spesse la presa non è stabile come mi aspettavo. A volte basta un piccolo urto sulla scrivania perché il telefono si sposti o perda aderenza. Anche la stabilità complessiva non è eccezionale. La base tende a muoversi se si interagisce con il dispositivo appoggiato, e questo rende l’esperienza meno pratica di quanto dovrebbe essere. Per un accessorio pensato per migliorare l’ordine e la comodità, è un limite che pesa. In sintesi: un prodotto con una buona idea alla base, ma che non offre la solidità e l’affidabilità che mi aspettavo. Per il prezzo, mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di più concreto.

So frustrated - the PRO kit has the “complete set” but it only has one magnet, so it won’t hold a tablet. It shows in the picture that it’ll hold a tablet but just in small print that it only includes one. For the price i was sure it would’ve included two. Returning and buying two magnets. So infuriating.
