I think the overall concept of this book is great. The construction of it is a nice cloth finish, great for a baby, but the topics being covered are for a little more mature audience.Having some interactivity can be fun, even though they maybe will not understand the concept of what's being taught, but maybe over time the child can learn. However, I think the parent also needs to help guide the child a bit, as there's no particular rhyme or story to follow, so in order for the child to learn something, someone needs to be present to learn.Overall, I would kind of place this at a higher age group, as I think part of telling a bedtime story is allowing the child to use their imagination and hear words being spoken. However, this does still serve a place for curious minds and eventual technical skills down the road.

I ordered this sensory activity book for the special education daycare that I work at. The kids absolutely love it and it is perfect for helping develop their fine motor skills, their language skills, and their pattern recognition skills. I would say this book is also incredibly durable. Every day the kids explore this book with their hands, and unfortunately, sometimes their mouths. However, the book and the colors have remained strong despite being disinfected around 50x by now. Overall I would say this book is absolutely perfect, and I will definitely be repurchasing.

I got this for my 1yo nephew. He is too young for some of the activities - they require fine motor skills and understanding that he won't have for at least a couple more years - but it is a soft book and he is still entertained by it. Lots of things to touch, grab, and pull. It is a bit of an odd book because the overall look and feel seems geared towards a younger audience than the activities would suggest. Hopefully that means he'll be interested in it for a few years yet though!

Lots of visual and textural stimulation in this activity book. My nearly 2-year-old nephew really likes it, through at this stage I think he's enjoying the colors, textures, and bits and bobbles for what they are rather than for their meaning and intention, which is fine, this book still last a few more years of being thrown around and nibbled on, no doubt. And he'll appreciate it in different ways as he grows.11 activities, all with unique art and text (all of which lacking grammatical errors, which is great). The cloth finish is well done. No loose stitching, very clean and tidy.Overall, a well-priced and well-featured activity book for toddlers!

Product is good because it can be washed and carried along. I would say a bit small. I wanted it for my toddler to learn basic skills. For 14$ I think it should be worth less. For now good still have yet for it to be used to write a better review.

Good book for a toddler. Super quiet and just cute.

This book is really cute but I’m a little surprised it’s rated for “up to 4 years old” because some of the activities seem fairly challenging - putting a buckle together and tying a shoelace especially. The other activities seem way more appropriate - a zipper, turning a wheel, matching kites to colors, dragging a giraffe down a slide, and putting food in a picnic basket. There’s also a cute activity on the back cover that I worry would be a choking hazard if a child managed to pull it off the book. Overall though, it’s really cute, and has more options than I’ve seen in other activity books (using different skills, like matching colors and dexterity), and it’s well-made. I don’t see pieces falling apart or off easily. I also like that it’s a nice compact size that will stuff into a bag to take along.

Excellent book for kids. One of the best gift for young child.

Small , cute little book was travelling

This is an activity book based around a playful giraffe called Jojo. Before you undo the Velcro fastening that keeps it closed there is a strap on the top that it can be held by. The front, back and all pages in between feel soft and like a silky nylon.Overall this does seem a bit expensive. This said there are various sensory materials and actions and a nice story to share. (At the age group it is aimed at, the American spelling of colour / favourite may only bother some adults). There are a variety of practical activities which may appeal at different stages across the suggested age range. These offer fun practice of ‘fastenings’ skills that will help self dressing as well as understand ‘matching’ and other early learning skills.It comes in its own transparent plastic, popper fastening pocket. The books bright colours make it attractive for this pre-school age range and the story flow gives a reason for each pages activities. Most of these are chunky and easy for little fingers but there are some smaller fastenings that will challenge.I’m not sure how strong a few of the fastenings are. Whilst the sowing seems well finished off a youngster who is at the stage of experimenting with ‘pulling things apart’ may well test this. I suggest you judge this for yourself for the age, stage and strength of your child as well as checking for any changes in the state of the book.Overall a lovely book offering a nice story a young child can relate to offering a variety of activities to share with an adult and practice skills.

Our little one really loves this book and is getting used to playing with all aspects of it. Truly a sensory dream! £13 is really good and makes it an essential addition to your child/toddlers library. Well made, great quality!

My son has a missing chromosome and other learning disabilities so loves sensory books like this one especially when he is travelling in the car.We love this book as it try’s to learn a child basic day to day activities like telling the time, shoe laces, doing up buckles, buttons, zips etc.It looks like a babies book but can be used by any age or abilities and it’s especially good for SEN children.The book has 10 pages with tons of activities, it’s colourful, bold pictures, lightweight, fully washable, soft and quality made.
