Works even in the Winter
So far so good,even gets a little charge during Winter to then put into my other power banks. Will upgrade to the next higher one when can afford,thank-you FlexSolar,not too heavy in the slightest and can be propped up in the highest window connected to a battery.

Comparison with Big Blue 28W
This will be a running review as I test this panel and the Big Blue panel in different conditions outside.CONDITION 1 : 1 hour before sunset in a grey sky - total cloud cover - rainy :When Flex Solar was plugged into a battery, it showed that it was chargingWhen Big Blue was plugged into a battery, it showed 0 amp on the output ammeter and the battery showed no sign of charging. Also the inbuilt ammeter blinked on and off.I googled it and learned from Big Blue R&D department that Big Blue only operates properly in full sunlight. So I will see if this is the case.I will text them both at different times of the day and under different atmospheric conditions to see which ones perform best.

solar phone charger
So handy for charging your phone while out and about, clip it to a backpack or leave on a table in sunlight to solar charge your phone.

Works as expected
Nicely packaged and works well. Is able to charge up at least a 5000mah battery pack during a summers day even when overcast so perfect for camping trips etc. even works albeit much reduced charge inside the tent so good if you maybe don't want to advertise electronics.Not the smallest so keep in mind dimensions when buying eg will it fit in your backpack!

Two of these failed after a couple of months
Purchased two of these to help staff who run a literacy project in. Zambia. In Zambia power is on so called load sharing which means mains power off >50% of the time. So these panels to help keep phones charged and all that. Gave the panels to two different teams … but both stopped working after a couple of months. For that reason cannot recommend this product.

What to expect
On a cloudy autumnal day in the east of England with the sun breaking through 10-15 mins each hour, this increased the charge to the battery on my iPhone 11 Pro from 70-85% in four hours

charges but slow
woke up, bright sunny day, right lets test the charger. 10 am, mobile has 45%. set up panels in direct sun, hooked up phone...... 12.30, phone now 67%.......2pm now 80% .......finally 100% and its only 4.15 pm . it only took 6 hours 15 for this 15w charger to charge a mobile 55%. not overly impressed , my big blue 14w did a 70% charge in 4 hrs on a stightly overcast day. but at least it charged so i will use big blue for full charging and this for topping off or small charge jobs.
