Don't try any cheaper "pizza flours" than this!
I use to buy a supermarket brands "finest" 00 grade pizza flour, but it was so hard to work with. The dough had no gluten in and just fell apart when stretching and was a sticky mess at high hydration. I knew it shouldn't be like this as I've bought "proper" dough balls online for parties. Took a chance on this and now my dough is like the online ones I bought. Very stretchy and can handle high hydration (68%) without being nasty sticky. Crust texture was perfect and even seemed to cook better too.

Excellent
Caputo Classica, Doppio Zero, Soft Wheat Flour Type "00" Blue BagsExcellent quality and flavor everyday flour.I use this for traditional BREAD making and would recommend it to anyone who struggles in digesting high protein flours in bread products as this is far more gentle on the stomach. The result is a soft and well risen loaf but care must be taken with the hydration level because the 00 mill doesn't take up as much liquid as store bought rough milled strong flour. For this quality Italian flour the price is exceptional! at time of purchase I paid 16.79 for ten kilos with 24 hour delivery, unbeatable! Will be buying again.

Superb pizza flour
Iv had a Ferrari pizza oven for a few years now and i find real Italian Tipo 00 flour makes a huge difference.Ok it works out just over £2 per 1kg bag,but i get 6 pizzas from each so 35p a base,20p for live yeast i buy in blocks and freeze in 20g portions,i find 20g does 1kg of this flour perfect.Cheese,a topping, quality tomato base and i can feed my family when they visit for less than £10 for 6 pizzas,a pasta bake and some chips. That 8 adults. This flour is worth every penny.I find a longer proof works wonders and it also freezes great after first rise and knock back.I make a batch freeze 5 of them and can get out and defrost as needed for pizza or garlic bread.

Great quality flour for bread & pizza dough
This flour is much more expensive that regular flour found in supermarkets, even when purchased in bulk like this. However I definitely do taste the difference in quality between this strong fine grain flour and regular supermarket strong flour. I just wish it was about half the price.

Just amazing flour
I made bread with this, it's fantastic mixed with Spelt or other flours. Not to mention it does make great pizzas ;) The price is completely worth it, far better than supermarket brands.

High quality flour for all uses
This is one if the best flour you can buy. Is a type 00, which means that is grinded very finely. It’s excellent for sourdoughs, including the traditional pizza (even though there are better option for this such as the Caputo Pizzeria) but also for tin bread any any other preparation. Is not as strong in protein as other types of Caputo flour so you cannot go too far with the hydration (60-65% max) and in this season I limit the proving time to 20 hours in the fridge and 4 at room temperature. With the flour shortage we’re having in UK and being shielding and unable to go anywhere I’ve been buying this flour now for the second time to allow us to bake our bread at home. Caputo is a guarantee of quality, it goes without saying. The shipment arrived over a week in advance so I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The only downside is that this is more expensive than in Italy.
