I initially had high hopes for this product, but it turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag for me.On the positive side, it did outperform some of the other products I've tried, even on the first application. I used it on the black door mirror surrounds of my 16-year-old Honda, which had faded to a patchy grey. The product brought them back to a new look, and the finish lasted longer than expected. It also required less reapplication on UV-damaged surfaces compared to other branded products.However, there are some significant drawbacks to consider. Firstly, it's essential to wear gloves when using this product as it can stain the skin. Additionally, the consistency is quite thick, similar to black poster paint, and it has a tendency to drip, making application messy and staining surrounding areas, including hands and clothing.Despite its initial promising appearance when wet, once dried, the plastic still had a faded look, leaving it with a dull and lifeless appearance. It almost resembled a matte black paint job rather than a restoration product.Overall, while this product may offer some benefits in terms of performance, its messy application process and inconsistent results leave much to be desired. I've used better trim recovery products in the past and wasn't particularly impressed with this one.
