Doing a good job
Added to my truck bed for tie downs. Has worked very well on holding cargo in place. The plating could be better as a couple have some rust on them after being out in the weather for some time now. Other than that, they take a lot of tension and hold up.

On my truck and working well
The D Rings are solidly built and came as advertised. The problem for installation is what to put behind the metal you drilled through to attach the bolts for the D ring to. In other words, if you just put two holes through the sheet metal of your truck bed, you can probably pull the D ring bolts through the sheet metal if you tighten it down with a rachet tie down. What you have to do is put a thick piece of steel. maybe 3 inch by 3 inch with two holes drilled through it for the D ring bolts. I used 1/8th plate and I can rachet down the tie downs without worrying about pulling the D rings through the sheet metal. But the D Rings are great. IF you tighten the two bolts down extra hard, it makers it hard to move the D ring so resist the urge to tighten it down with an air gun.

1/4" is the diameter of the metal rod that is bent into the loop
I was afraid this might be tiny but it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. With a little crafting I plan to use these to replace the plastic tie downs (yes, plastic) in my GM SUV. They made fully half the tie downs plastic (to save weight?). At this point I plan to buy largish washers, drill two holes in them to fit the holes in these, put carriage bolts into the holes drilled, fasten the washers to the single fastening point in the car then fasten these to the carriage bolts. I do not want that mower, toolbox or propane tank to go flying into the passenger compartment in a crash. They would be fine for any lashing uses.

Unlike the picture the weld is exposed one side of the D ring.
I was a bit disappointed as the weld is on side of D ring and not polished down so looks a bit cheap. Most tie downs of this style have the weld ground/polished and concealed under the mounting strap. Other than that the item is fully functional.

Great quality for your $$
Just like many D-rings I have purchased over the years, I purchased this 10 pack to cater for a new trailer I have. For the value & having the ability to run 3 down each side, 2 at the front & 2 at the back.Appear to be very well made & if it wasn't for all the spares that I have been finding, I would recommend this product & I would buy again.

Ties downs work great
I have a 5' x 10' trailer with a wood deck and I needed a way to secure things to the trailer. The frame of the trailer is built in a way that I cannot hook straps under the sides of the trailer. So, I installed these along the sides of the trailer to give me multiple tie down points. A 1/4" bolt fits perfect through the holes of these ties downs. I would definitely buy again.

Brackets were thick enough to weld onto side boards of utility trailer, should be strong enough for most moderate loads. Was exactly what I was looking for.

Used on a wall, works great.
Works great in wall studs to create a very secure attachment point. You get quite a few of them, which was what made me look at them as opposed to other options. The holes are a little big, but not too big and I can use common screws.
