OtterBox Galaxy Z Fold5 Defender Series XT Case - Black, screenless, Rugged Hinge Protection, Lanyard Attachment, PowerShare and Wireless Charging Compatible

I gotten so many cases and the issues with them are keeping the adhesive from separation of the case. This case consists of 3 pieces into 1 eliminates that. The hinge unfortunately is a little flimsy. Dropping the case did separate it but I just poped it right back on and continued with my day. I've been using otterboxes since the early days and will continue. I love this concept for our foldable. Please make it sturdy and when you do, just take my money. The case is super slim and 10 times better in the hand than others in the market. Love you Otterbox and I'll keep supporting as long as you promise to make a V2 of this case.

I'd used an Otterbox case on my last Samsung phone, and loved that the outer edges were made of a semi-soft rubber, which not only provided for a good hand grip, but also truly protected the phone from drops, providing a cushioning effect.It was that same expectation that guided me to go ahead and spend almost $100 on another Otterbox product that I now needed for my new Z-Fold 5 phone. The Amazon literature (presumably provided by the manufacturer) described the case as having "rubber edges", and the photos also show it with a clip-on case as well. Based on my earlier experience with Otterbox, I decided to spring for this one, in spite of the high cost.Imagine my disappointment upon receiving the new unit today... first, in spite of the factory packaging touting "rubber edges, for a good grip", the entire case appeared to be made of hard plastic! Additionally, it did NOT come with the belt clip "holster" as shown in the photos. Instead, there was a "coupon code" slip of paper in the box, that said to go online to a website, and that you can order the holster... but, the BUYER must still pay the "shipping and handling" charges, to obtain this accessory.As my existing cheap (about $19) case actually does offer some rubber-edged protection (as well as a built-in screen protector), I immediately decided to return the Otterbox version, as I wasn't about to pay a hundred bucks for something that was less than satisfactory.

Been using for about a month now and the case has protected my phone on many drops. Perfect snug fit on the phone making it easy to use. No applied kickstand . Very durable

All of the other cases for my phone seemed cheap and were in 2 pieces, the otterbox is one piece and fits like a glove

Case fit great.Value is a bit high.Case protected Phone and is still functional without issue.Although this is where the case gains it's Achilles heel. Dropped phone from about 2 foot and hit the "hard plastic" hinge protector and it shattered. If it had the same rubberized coating the rest of the case had this wouldn't have happened. Case was purchased March of 2024 and finally found this huge flaw not even a full year later... from a "DEFENDER" that's unacceptable. I understand the challenges of developing and building an affordable case for a phone that folds but I'd have gladly spent $10 more to have the hinge protector rubberized for impact protection then to have to spend another $50+ on a decent case. Would recommend so as long as your good at not dropping your phone or at least on the corner where the hinge protector is.

I used Otterbox cases for years until Samsung started making the flip and fold phones. I'm pleased to say that Otterbox is not only making a case for my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5, but I am very pleased to say that it fits and protects my phone better than several other big name companies.Thank you Otterbox great product!

Bulky. Had to buy a different charger because the case is thick. Broke at the center hinge fairly quickly after purchasing. Would not recommend, especially because of the price & comparable quality with lesser priced brands.
