Very useful to have this. Nice adapter, easy to plug in and fit perfectly with my mac pro. this is great idea. It works perfect,has all the ports I need and, looks slick with my Macbook. It also comes with a plastic case that has a bit of extra space for small cables or a USB stick and the case keeps everything together and out of the dirt. A really useful accessory for any road warrior with computer like a newer MacBook that has only USB-C ports.

Got this today and functions as advertised. All ports work and are recognized with no issues. Only reason for 4 stars is when heavy duty HDMI cable is attached sometimes the hub gets disconnected by the weight of the cable when positioning the laptop. Charge port works with iPhone x, the memory card reads my 256gb card without any problems.

So, I kept watching reading reviews to find out uf this would work with Samsung Galaxy Book...got tired of waiting, so I ordered it. YES IT WORKS!!My overall opinion is tgat it does what its suppose to do. But i will say, it only has 1 usb c connection to plug into your galaxy book, so theres a bit of a gap, so its not flush and is a little shakey because it. But thebest part is it has all the connections so if you are like me and hate having multiple adapters lying around or having to buy them, the this will definately do the trick. Sleek, not big and bulky, but slighlty bigger than a regular thumb drive

First off, was very flimsy in the fact that it could easily be taken out of its port.2nd it was nice and ran well until the hdmi port started running into some issues, working now and then... hhaving to replug in the hdmi over and over again just to connect to my external was annoyingLast, the USB ports broke 1 and a half months after I got this. There's really no point in me having this anymore because it BROKE so easily.Please be careful when you buy a low quality item like this, things break easily without any physical harm..

I like this adapter for all of my regular USB devices, but in order for the USB-C to make the connection to my computer, I had to remove the case from the computer, and close it then reopen it. It's just not quite long enough to just go into the USB-C on its own with the computer case on. Kind of a pain.

With my new MacBook pro, there was only USB C port so it was difficult to do anything thing productive with it without having an adapter like this. And that's when I purchased this USB C hub and it has made my life so much better while connecting external monitor or projector. Beside that it has 2 USB 3.0 port and SD/Micro SD card reader slots where I can connect other devices. It works great and is a plug and play device so I don't have to install anything. Comes with a 12 year warranty but so far it has been working great and I highly recommend it.

The overall build and fit of the product seemed great. I noticed it was taking a very long time while doing some file transfers to an external SSD (USB 3.0 port). I'm not a techie, so I don't know how to observe/calculate actual rates of transfer. However, using the same file my Apple dongle wrote a 11gb file in 6 minutes, 30 seconds. The Aplharan showed "about 2 hours". The funny this is that read speeds we about the same at 3 minutes, 30 seconds for both the dongle and the hub. Both were plugged into the upper left thunderbolt port. Sending it back. Be sure to check yours.

This is a handy device that (for thicker devices with USB-C) would possibly be ideal. There is no attaching cable - the device connects directly to your laptop and provides multiple ports for external devices.The problem is that the PixelBook is so thin that the device does not level out with the computer. It ends up that the computer is held up (about an 1/8") by it's USB-C port. Otherwise, it seemed to work fine with my PB. But I was concerned that repeated use would damage either the laptop or the device so I returned it.I considered using an extension cable to attach it but that defeats the purpose. Just buy the type with a USB-C male cable attached.
