The Good: Great for larger dogs with long hair. They will look forward to the combination scratcher/belly rub tool. Gathers the loose hair well.The Bad: Removing 90% of the hair from the rake is easy. There is always a few that get wrapped up around the rotator and can accumulate if you don't clean well each time.Overall: It is always better to rake and remove than clean up loose hair around the house. Rake them before giving them a bath to prevent the drain from becoming clogged. Be careful around sensitive spots and work with your dogs patience level and you'll be golden.

We have 2 cats, 1 of which is quite hairy and sheds A LOT. He does love to be brushed, but have gone through several trying to find one that will do a good job at collecting hair. We tried the FAFASO Pets Undercoat Rake for Dogs, but don't be discouraged by the description as it's for cats too. Our cat LOVES to be brushed/combed with this rake. It is very easy to hold and does have a little weight to it, but it's obviously not something "cheap". It does a great job at getting/collecting loose hair, even near the undercoat so you can get the hair before it hits your floor.All in all, very happy with this undercoat rake and our cat is very happy too.

This brush is a very sturdy, good quality brush. It works well and removes the undercoat and excess shedding fur very successfully. My dogs seem to enjoy being brushed with this type of brush and my German shepherd especially loves it. It is definitely a good value.

I've owned cats and dogs my entire life (50+ years), and I've never had a brush pick up as much shed from my animals the way this one did. I have a long haired cat, and had a grand time brushing him with this. But I also have a short haired cat, and surprisingly the brush picked up even more hair for this cat than from my long haired. The long haired cat wasn't the hugest fan of the experience, but my short haired absolutely loved it and got kinda bratty with me any time I tried to stop brushing him. I'm really shocked by the price of this because I've paid 20+ dollars for other "fancy" brushes that don't even work half as well as this one did. Highly recommend to anyone with a pet in need of brushing

And I think all the birds in my neghiborhood love it too... My dogs shed so so much and this pulled out so much hair that all the birds around will probably stay longer into the fall because their nests are extra warm.

This brush is great for pulling our your dogs undercoat! It works best on long haired dogs or double coated dogs such as huskies. There is a bit of tension when combing through the hair as it pulls out the under layer of hair.
