Ancol Timberwolf Soft Leather Blue Dog Puppy Lead Pet Leash Training Accessory, 1m x 19mm

I have to keep a loose trailing lead on my dog, for reasons I won't go into. The various types I have tried haven't been suitable. The problem is, chains and fabric types can catch her claws and cause damage. I imagined that leather leads like this would be uncomfortable for me to hold and for her to lie on, but this is super and not uncomfortable at all.. She hasn't tried to chew it and I am really pleased with it. It is solid and strong but not heavy, has a good strong metal (brass ?) clip and is a really smart lead and great value for the money, which I wasn't really expecting. Purchased each of my dogs one of these leads for Christmas.As far as they are concerned they couldn’t care less what they were attached to so long as they get taken on a walk!As far as I am concerned however, I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of the product. The yellow stitching compliments the brown leather very well. The length of the lead is perfect - I have three dogs - a Border Terrier, a Jack Russell x and a Chihuahua and the length is perfect for each dog. I have used the leads in extreme weather - torrential rain and I have to say they have survived very well - there are no water marks and they look as good as the day they arrived.100% would recommend this product.

Nice looking lead but not practical for dogs that pull. The stitching is so badly done. I got the lead straight out of the packaging when it came, looked at the handle area and all the stitching just started to come away. I sent it straight back and didn't trust trying another. If your dog's pulling on one of these leads it could very well end up in danger.

This is a beautiful, quality leather lead. It has a nice strong clip to attach it to the collar. It's soft in my hand when walking my puppy and it will last her into addulthood. I bought the matching collar. Brilliant product, it's well made and I would recommend it to anyone. Love it.

I bought this lead because it’s not very long, my dog likes to walk behind me at times so a shorter lead is better. It’s a nice strong leather and I think when it softens up it will be more comfortable on the hand.

I own the matching Ancol Timberwolf collar in Sable and I thought it would be idea to get a matching set, so I purchased this. When I first saw it I was extremely disappointed on how thin it was. I was expecting a big chunky leather lead but instead it's very thin and looks like it could break easily. Secondly I don't like how the material is quite stiff and as I have it loosley in my hand it all bundles up stiffly and looks really weird. Although I didn't send this item back it will come in useful for vet visits or dog shows as visually it looks very smart. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing this lead but I would 100% recommend the matching Ancol Timberwolf collar.

The lead is really nice and the leather is very soft, it will take a bit of getting used to as normal buy the padded handle leads but I know this lead will soon soften. It make my doggie look very posh.Thank you so muchJoanie Coupe

Great quality leather lead. I have a Rottweiler, & it's perfect for him (but would be fine for any breed). The lead is very strong, & the leather breaks in quickly. I've used it regularly for about two years, & it shows no signs of needing replacing. Highly recommended
