I had been disappointed with my previous showerhead, and specifically searched for "high-pressure" for the new one. I went with this one due to the reviews, and am happy to say that I have joined the crowd of satisfied purchasers.I don't care so much about the 48 modes claim, I just wanted a normal spray that had some real "push" to it. The AquaStar Elite made it seem like my water line pressure was more than it used to be. No, it didn't blow me into the wall, but the "mist" setting really surprised me as being rather aggressive. There's also the jet massage setting, which made me think of ritzy hotels, where there is a sprayer midway up, for blasting your back.On that subject, I found it more useful to attach the removable wand portion to a suction cup holder, partway down from the shower head. This allowed me to enjoy the diverter setting that activates both the shower head and the wand at the same time. Very nice.It is chrome-coated plastic, but has a heavier feel than you would expect, as if it were metal. I also have to mention the flex hose for the wand is the real deal, not the plastic hose that has a black coil printed on it. The hose on the AquaStar is metal, flexes quite easily, and stays slack so you don't have to fight with it.I haven't had it long enough to comment on the antimicrobial properties, or the self-cleaning aspect, but unlike cheaper shower heads, the individual streams stay aimed correctly at all times, no "renegade" streams shooting off to the side.I'll update this review if anything goes amiss, but it's been a few weeks, and I've truly enjoyed using it.

I read all the reviews and decided htat this was the shower head for me. Boy was I wrong. Here's why:1. VERY low pressure both when using dual heads at the same time and individual. My old Peerless and a cheap Lowes brand heads were far superior with to regards to pressure.2. The hose attachment holder will not stay up. If you bump the hose the head swings downward. Seriously? How would something like this even pass basic product testing?3. When using only the larger of the two shower heads, no matter what setting you switch to, the bottom rain fall section of the head still let's water out.It is made of light plastic painted to look chrome which I did not deduct for based on its price but wanted to let other sellers know that it feels like something you would buy at a discount dollar store. I recommend that you DO NOT waste your money on this product.

After reading a ton of reviews I decided to buy it, and I'm so glad I did. The water pressure is great. I was worried if it would be sturdy or not because I read it was plastic but I have to say it's pretty durable and solid. I was going to spend hundreds of dollars on a Koeler but I couldn't find anything modern looking. Glad I went with this one. Looks great. I pretty much just use the regular "Rain" setting as it's the most comfortable for showering. There's the usual "Massage" option and a cool "Mist" option that my kids love. The only setting I didn't like was (what I coined) the Monsoon Mist which feels like you're in a sea storm. The kids didn't like it, but I enjoyed demonstrating it for them. There are also other options which just combine the first three that I mentioned above. The Monsoon mist seems to be a combo of some or all of the settings at once. Anyway, love it! The large head works perfect for my wife and I and the handheld is for our messy 2 and 4 year old's.

My husband and I have been using an old, cheap shower head that we kept complaining just didn't have enough pressure. I decided to give this one a shot, keeping in mind that if we didn't like it we could always send it back. We LOVE it! We love it so much that we have purchased a second one for our spare bathroom and once we have our basement bathroom finished I will be purchasing one to go in there as well. I worried that with the bigger head the pressure would be scattered and I wouldn't like it, but it has excellent pressure.

The improvement in water spray vs our old showerhead is signìficant. We have enjoyed large showerheads in hotels for years, now we can have that waterfall experience in our own home. It easily adjusts to multiple spray pattèrns. I found it easy to install. No tools required. Ì did have a question during installation so I called their cùstomer service. Phone was answered promptly by a real person who was very helpful.She followed up the next day with an email to make sure everything was OK. I highly recommend this product.

I love this shower head duo - it is exactly what I wanted. I had my apartment maintenance install it, so I cant speak to the ease of installation, but everything else has worked perfectly. I believe it saves me water in the long run because it takes very little pressure for all the pieces to work. It is easy to change between overhead, handheld and mixed formats (although I don't ever find it necessary to run the overhead and handheld at the same time). The massage function is fabulous for both handheld and overhead. Sooooo relaxing. I use every format at one time or another and am very satisfied with each one. Having a nice showerhead makes shower time very soothing and I no longer feel like I "have" to take my shower --- I "get" to take it.

This is an attractive shower head and I find the big head has more pressure than many I've used. However, I find it more difficult to change from the large shower head to the handheld and it seems especially difficult to position it to stop the flow of both shower heads. Maybe it will turn more easily after use. It was easy to install even for someone like myself who sometimes struggles with them. I wish it didn't have so much plastic in it.
