  • It is a very fast fermenting strain with fermentation normally being completed in 4 to 5 days when above 18 degrees Celcius. This yeast is particularly tolerant to alcohol so can be used for both primary and secondary fermentation to make medium and higher strength Ales and s. The percentage of sugars converted into alcohol at the end of the fermentation (the final attenuation degree) of this strain is very high which will generally produce a drier with a higher ABV..
