Guess I'll quit drinking since I had to sell a kidney to buy this thing... but I'm glad I did. Set up was simple and fast. Camera connected immediately and the pictures are very nice. I'd suggest watching some YouTube videos about setting suggestions from other users and don't skimp on your data plan. If you use the camera a lot, you'll need more than you think. You better go ahead and get external power too, because those 12 AA batteries don't last long if the camera is active and/or exposed to extreme temperatures. The "golive" feature is so cool, crystal clear with zero lag. I don't know if a person can live without both kidney's but I'm considering buying another Spartan.

I have 2 Golive cameras and 3 Ghost cameras monitoring a remote piece of property directly on the Gulf of Mexico. I was worried the excess salt in the air would take it's toll on the cameras but I was WRONG! After over 3 years of use, I have NOT had 1 single problem with ANY of the cameras. The cameras actually saved my property from fires two different times! The smoke from the fires triggered the motion sensors and alerted me of the fires. I was able to get to the property and get the fires put out before they got out of control. Since the property is ONLY accessible by airboat, the fire department can't get to it, so I'm on my own. Without these cameras it's hard to say how much damage would have been done.The Golive cameras allow me to monitor the high tides on demand which is very helpful during hurricane season.They also proved invaluable when I had trespassers. I was able to read the vessel ID numbers and track down the trespassers. When the police confronted the trespassers the trespassers denied it but thanks to the super clear images from the Spartan cameras there was undeniable proof and allowed the police to "trespass" them and they have not been back since!I absolutely recommend these cameras and have zero complaints.

I have been using Spartan Cameras for almost 10 years now. The GoLive is my favorite camera the ability to view a live streaming video anytime you want is a game changer. I use the feature to check weather and wind when trying to decide which stand to hunt. I have also used this feature to catch thiefs that were trying to steal my camera. This camera also has built in GPS so you will always know where your camera is. With the built in lithium battery it doesn't matter if the AA batteries are removed the camera is off and the antenna is removed it will still send you the camera location atleast 1 time a day. The GoLive is also able to be ran straight off a solar panel which is one of my favorite things about this cam. I have several cams in the field now that I haven't had to put batteries in for going on 5 seasons.. This is huge, by having the built in lithium battery you do not have to worry about AA batteries because the solar panel charges the internal battery...Great camera and great company.. Would and have recommended this camera to anyone looking for a high end cellular trail cam.

My friend owns 30+ arces of land in North Georgia. We use it for hunting and training on weekend. It's usually vacant on weekdays. We bought two Spartan cameras. One as a security camera mounted near the entrance and one for monitoring a feeder during hunting seasons. The wireless signal in the area is quite weak for my T-mobile phone. These two Spartan cemeras never failed to notify us and send back photos and videos. At one time, a stray dog wondered into one of the traps we set up for fox hunting. We saw it on the app and called our neighbor over to free it up. Without the Spartan cameras we put in there, that poor dog probably would die under the hot summer sun of Georgia. The Spartan support team are based in Georgia, not too far away from where I live. It's a huge plus for us because we know we can count on them when we need them. It's not a cheap product. But you pay for what you get and the services you received.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 2 Spartan go live AT&T 4GLTE and they work absolutely amazing…I have the 12v battery box on each and believe me these cameras last for ever with this battery setup..I have them set on 8mp and 20 second video with each detection and 3 min intervals…you can do so much with these cameras setting and setup…they also update on there own and that’s a plus,don’t worry about updating any firmware..the GPS on these cameras are spot on and u can see exactly where your camera is..I know there pricy but I promise u won’t go wrong with Spartan…I guarantee you after you buy one you’ll definitely want another…the customer service Spartan provides is quick and friendly and they also take care of there customers they treat you like family and they stand behind there products and if you have any problems they WILL take care of you…Thankyou spartan for the awesome cameras and great service u provide…One more thing I left out is the data plans they have are very reasonable and u can pay for 1G a month or less or more if u need to and add multiple cameras to your data plan…the go live is also very feature is also very affective and so cool…I’ve used it to check and see if any deer are in the area before I get in my stand and also you can go live and record at the same time…just an all around great camera and worth it……Thank-you and hopefully this helps someone make a decision and enjoy Spartan Cameras as much as I do!!

I have had all of the models of Spartan cameras, the GoLive and Golive2 are my absolute favorites. We use them for scouting deer, bear and turkeys as well as just setting them up to get pictures of non game animals (fallen logs over streams and creeks is my favorite spots). We also use these cameras for security on different properties, the built in GPS that keeps working even with the camera turned off and the batteries removed is a great feature. Also love the fact that you can connect a solar panel directly to the camera and don't need any batteries in the camera at all. I have some that have been running almost 4 years only on the solar panel.
