I trialled this on our training rig and it was unable to stop the simulated bleeding, no matter how much it tightens. I'm glad I tested it before finding out it doesn't work with someones life at risk.The internal material just keeps pulling through until it's impossible to turn any more, whilst barely applying any pressure.I even had a colleague put it on me, tightening it as much as possible. It applied enough pressure to hurt, but nowhere near enough to stop a catastrophic hemorrhage, it barely even reduced my capillary refill.This product could kill someone. Avoid.

Tourniquets need to be applied tightly, painfully tight. I ordered two of these and as soon as they arrived I tried one out on my leg. The plastic twist handle broke into three pieces before the band was anywhere near tight enough. If this happens for real then the casualty dies, it’s that simple.

Haven't used it properly yet, don't want to ever have to use it. If i lose my leg and live i will come back and update my review.Had a go with it to test its capability. Can get it nice and tight so expect it will do its job when needed

I hope I never have to use this but if I do it is good to know that it works (having practiced with it so I know how to do it)

These are fakes. Do not rely on them for traumatic bleeding! Buy CoTCCC approved tourniquets such as CAT or SOFTT instead. Don’t cheap out on a lifesaving item such as this, the last time you want it to fail is when you need it.

Bought as an addition to my first aid kit. Hope I never need to place it on anyone.
