Fun little toy, but not to be confused with DJI or comparable drones.
This and many drones appearing for cheap prices are modeled after very popular, and very expensive drones on the market. While it is a welcome sight to see some alternative options and cheaper drones that fold up and tout many of the same fun features theyr'e definitely not to be confused with the "real deals".This particular drone looks pretty cool and seems that it's obstacle avoidance system would be very impressive. While it's there, and it does work to an extent, it seems a bit limited. Moving slowly for the most part it seems to deter pretty well, and the flight and control overall is actually pretty good. The range is lacking, in my opinion although to be totally honest with it's size, you're supposed to only fly it within visual range anyhow so depending on where you are it may be a non-issue.It's very lightweight and easy to pack around so that it has going for it, although i'd recommend some sort of band (velcro perhaps?) to hold the props snuggly to the body so they don't catch or bend/break while transporting if not in the case it came in. the case, by the way, is pretty decent actually and holds everything nice and snug.Video and image quality aren't horrible but don't feel like 4k to me, especially the video. Has some stutter but it does work. While it does have 1 button take off and return, and you don't have to worry about losing it out of range, the price just feels a bit excessive for what it is. I've gotten honestly for $70 drones that work better than this one..I believe even cheaper than that but that's one I can be sure of.So again, while it's a fun smaller drone there are just much better options.

It's ok, but you can do better for the same price. Video isn't good enough.
I honestly think that the title/name of this drone, indicating 4k and 1080P, was just thrown together by someone looking for impressive-sounding drone terms that would sucker me into buying this item.It is NOT a 4k drone by any means, just a HD one. Image stability isn't amazing and since the video is transmitted to your phone or iPad and the signal is only so-so in strength, sometimes there's some stutter to the video, which is just disappointing / frustrating to see.GPS position awareness / return-to-home is good. Object avoidance is ok. I didn't TRY to ram it into things, but I like that it makes it harder for you to crash. That saves some upsetting mistakes that I've made in the past with other drones (that lacked object avoidance)All in all it's an OK drone for $100, but you can probably find one a little better for the same money if you look for reviews with higher star ratings than mine.

At this price, it is hard to recommend
I really wanted to like this drone, because on paper it looks really good. However, in practice, I don't think that it is a good value at this price point.First off, the listing mentions 4K in the title and there is nothing 4K about this drone. I am not sure why that is there. The drone does a decent job flying indoors, but even there I had some issues with it struggling to move. It drifted and wobbled trying to hold position. There are a lot of dead zones on the sticks. So for example, taking off you move the stick and nothing happens, then a bit more and it moves up an inch and then drops back down and bounces off the floor and back up. So you give it more throttle and it wants to go hit the ceiling. The video quality is, ok, but the bitrate looks pretty low and there are weird jumps that look like frame losses. I suspect there's just not enough processing power to encode the video and fly well at the same time. The reality is that you can get a drone with 2.7K video for less than $100 more from the market leader, and for just about $100 more you can get a 4K drone from the same. Those drones will both have image stabilization and gimbals for much smoother video and a strong track record. If your budget is absolutely maxed at this price point, I don't know if this is the drone to buy. I have seen others at the same price with more features.
