Reliable and Durable Lighter!
Compared to quality “Flint Strikers” this piezo spark igniter is really durable and well made to where it is able to take the abuse hanging off your tool belt banging around. It sparks every time you squeeze it. Lots of my Union Brothers took notice right away. Even the Electricians were looking at it. I would recommend and purchase another!

Garbage complete garbage!
I used this striker 15 times until today. At least 1/2 of those uses did not produce a spark! Today, not only did it not produce a spark the trigger handle flopped around like a part was missing. There is nothing more frustrating to me as a MacGyverer than buying a tool that should last a lifetime and go to use that tool, that is for all intents and purposes BRAND NEW, and have it fail so prematurely it didn’t even pay for itself!!!! I’d highly recommend purchasing a better brand!!

When all you need is a spark !
Great tool accessory for my torch cart ! No more replacing flints. Works as intended, and is of good quality. I would recommend to anyone who uses a torch!

Oxy-Propylene torch
It does work for an Oxy-Propylene torch but you must add a dash of oxygen to get it to light. It will not ignite the propylene by itself! Works great once you figure that out.

Ease of use
Prefer this lighter for my acetylene torch over the traditional ones. Easier to light your torch in awkward positions, 20 feet in the air on a ladder, ect

Useless, tiny, weak spark.
Couldn't light anything with this useless "sparker". Bought it to light my propane weed torch -- not even the slightest hint of lighting it with this thing. In a dark area inside, a tiny spark is visible, but only very briefly while squeezing or releasing the "trigger". No way whatsoever would it light the propane torch. (BTW, an old-fashioned flint sparker works just fine, but it's awkward to use with the weed torch, so I thought the GUTIMORE sparker might work -- no way.)

Better than the old flint style
This igniter works way better than the old striker style. Light squeeze and it lights the torch.
