Lasted 7 Months w/ Heavy Use
Shoe lasted 7 months of daily wear, which isn't terrible for a kid's shoe. The laces however only lasted about 1 week before becoming an impossible frayed, broken mess. I had to replace them with third party laces which held up much better. After 7 months part of the internal structure in the heel of the shoe bent forward and tore through the lining causing chafing and discomfort.Usually my child's shoes fail by wearing through the sole exposing the inside of the shoe to the elements by thin-worn/cracked rubber, so this was new. They served us well otherwise though and my child is definitely hard on shoes (diagnosed hyperactivity, not adhd -- just literally always in motion) so I like to give them a little grace in reviewing thusly. I'd give them 5 stars if the laces hadn't been such a hassle.Color and design held up wonderfully. I was worried the design would fade with wear but it's still vibrant and fun.
