Wasn't worth the hype and $
I know this is the most known brand and all but honestly i could not find much difference in the sketchbook paper from the dollar store and this one.Actually the sketchbook paper from $store comes tonned and has better texture. First picture is $3 sketchbook from Dollarama with 50 pages and 2nd pic is Strathmore 300 $16 50 pages!I would even say the Dollarstore paper feels thicker and takes more layers of oil pastels..

Breakage and heavy tooth
It was good but the pages tore off with me doing very little and indented what I drew to the next page. It was also a bit hard to use with colored pencils though I don't know if this paper is made for them.

Absorbs Ink Well
This is excellent drawing paper. I use it for calligraphy, and (unlike most other papers I have tried, especially printer paper or low-quality drawing paper) it absorbs and holds the ink. Most other papers I have tried bleed when I write with calligraphy ink, but the lines on this paper remain crisp.
