Waited for a long while before I wrote this review just to make sure it lasted. It's been making ice great, it's a small ice maker but makes a lot of ice very fast. Every 20 minutes to be exact. Also, it is made just like a commercial ice maker with service ports and replaceble capacitors. That being said, it is a small ice maker, not really for a restaurant more like a large home bar or a big family kitchen. People who are having problems with these units have either a defective unit, probably leaking refrigerant or did not read the instructions. You have to level the unit with the adjustable feet and then favor it to the back so the melting ice water goes to the drain hole at the back of the unit. By the way, it doesn't have drain a pump, even the high end commercial one don't so, if gravity draining will not work for you. You will have to buy a lift pump. These are sold under a few different names but all look the same, all made in China. My suggestion is the keep the box til the end of the Amazon return deadline. If it makes it that long, I think you got a good unit, if not box it up and send it back. Happy ice making!1 year update: still making ice with no problems. Just cleaned it, that was a bit of a pain. Would be easier if the door came off easy but it doesn't. Also, it survived a power surge about 4 months ago. Right after the surge the machine was clicking and making a weird noise. Thought, well that just burn out the board... I turn it off and back on and holy crap! It's starting working and making ice. Been running fine after since. I'll keep updating but, this thing is really surprising me.1 year and 6 months later....Still running strong! Just did another full cleaning! I love this ice maker, can't imagine life without an ice machine now.Another update (it's 11/6/20) still running great! Cleaned it again a few months ago. This ice maker is great!

Bought this ice maker for my office break room in (Aug 2018) and has worked great.Still up and running as of today (Nov 2021) and only experienced one minor issue with the waterline sine installation but that issue just barely occurred and was an inexpensive repair. i would purchase again.4 star due to the minor issue and having to buy a better scooper.

Bought this in Oct, 2018. Worked ok, started acting erratically recently. It only has a 60 day warranty. Not much for a $500 machine. So they don't have repair parts (mine needs a new display). Period. They were very nice, but useless. The people at Amazon gave me a nice credit, and I found that if I turn it on and off a couple of times it works. I get an error code, sometimes the light goes on on the display, but mostly not. Again it is $500. You decide. I don't recommend it.

This does a better job of producing ice than our $3000 Kitchenaid at our previous home. The Kitchenaid was always finicky and would stop and start working at random. This one works, rain or shine, even when it’s 112-115F outside on our covered patio in the Phoenix area. We use lots of ice, and with this we never run out, and can stock up for a couple days prior to a big party by harvesting and freezing the ice. Love it! Only wish it had a drain pump so I could put it in the garage and pump drain it outdoors thru the wall. But, it is fantastic for what we paid for it especially in comparison to a standard kitchen model.

Was delivered almost a week ahead of schedule, received today and got it hooked up quickly. Other reviewers are correct the instruction manual is an obvious poor translation from another language, however it is very easy to figure out. Made my 1st 10 pound bag of ice in under 90 minutes, still trying to dial in the cubes but should work great. We will see how it does on my back patio through an Arizona summer! Over all I'm really excited!

We bought this for our factory's breakroom. It's small enough it doesn't take up much counter space, but manages to produce enough ice for our 180 employees over three shifts.

This ice machine is small. So little.

My $600.00 ice machine does not work and I cannot get someone on the phone. They only reply on email and say they will give me 10% off another unit. REALLY? WHY would I spend that kind of $$$ on another piece of crap! The first one has never worked!! It is one year old this month but I started call customer service back in December. JUNK and BAD SERVICE!!
