Quick summary:I love Springbok puzzles and I thoroughly enjoyed this 1000-piece Springbok's "Log House Retreat" puzzle! It was both challenging and fun, and I love the peaceful cabin setting!I've been a huge fan of Springbok puzzles for years! Their puzzles are high quality and made in the USA, which is something I greatly appreciate and look for when purchasing puzzles. I get to help support US jobs and have fun while doing it! Excellent!☆☆☆☆☆On with my review of Springbok's 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle "Log House Retreat" -The puzzle pieces were packed inside a plastic bag inside the 2-piece box, and the box was also wrapped in plastic. There isn't a poster of the finished puzzle so you will definitely want to keep the box lid available to consult the image as you work. The image on the lid is large, clear and there are no obstructions, so the lack of a poster is truly not an issue as far as I'm concerned.Here are my thoughts and observations:Made in the USA! Perfect!Minimal puzzle dust!No missing pieces! (NOTE: In all my MANY years purchasing hundreds of Springbok puzzles, I've only experienced a missing piece one time, and when I contacted Springbok, they quickly sent a replacement puzzle free of charge! So rest assured, on the rare occurrence that you experience a missing piece, Springbok has great customer service and they stand behind their products!)No bent, broken, or peeling pieces!All pieces are consistent in thickness.Pieces are thick and sturdy, each with a unique shape!Various shapes and sizes help make this 1000-piece puzzle more fun and challenging, which I love!The pieces are cleanly and precisely cut, with only a piece here and there left partially attached to another piece. This doesn't bother me. It has happened on occasion with Springbok as well as other puzzle manufacturers. If and when this happens, I simply separate the pieces and move on.Also, what appears to be an edge piece may not be, but for me, this adds to the fun, and makes it more challenging! 💃🏼 Just consult the image on the box cover, and keep a "maybe, maybe not" pile of questionable pieces if you are in doubt. But don't give up! You can do it! 😉👍🏻 The edge pieces end up making a nice straight line and it's quite satisfying to see how the unique pieces fit together! Plus, it will make you feel like a rockstar! 😎😉Another great thing is that the fit is obvious, no wondering if you've placed a piece in the wrong location! The pieces fit and lock together without question.As I mentioned, Springbok puzzles are made in the USA, which I greatly appreciate and look for when purchasing puzzles. Springbok puzzles are both fun and challenging! The pieces are sturdy, they have unique shapes, and I've never had an issue with missing pieces!In summary, I really enjoyed the peaceful theme of this "Log House Retreat" puzzle and will definitely continue to purchase Springbok puzzles for myself and as gifts!5 stars and highly recommended!!

Another beautiful and fun puzzle.I don't know what it is about these puzzles though, where there's always a ton of dust that ends up all over the table from these pieces.Regardless, the colors are bright and the pieces are decent shaped.Had a nice evening.

I love the scene and wouldn't mind living in a place like this! Springbok has been around a long time and they should know the puzzle business. Made in the USA - do you believe it. The colors on this puzzle are brilliant and some of the pieces are interesting shaped - not the classic puzzle shape - making for a fun build. I have recently started doing jigsaw puzzles to keep the mind active and deviate from the constant re-runs of the same old plot on the tube so I have been getting puzzles from different manufactures. While Springbok does make a nice product, I found that the cardboard is a little thinner than other brands and not always crisply cut. They do not have the "cheat" codes on the back that can often help when you get that piece you are just not sure about. So take a clue from the competition Springbok and up your game.

This puzzle is very pretty. It's 1,000 pieces - so it's in the intermediate/advanced skill level for puzzlers. The pieces were all there, and they all fit well together. The picture quality is very nice.

I love puzzles, always have. This one has a great bright picture and quality pieces that don't peel off when I hook them with fingernail.

I just started putting this puzzle together and so far I am liking it. First of all, it is a gorgeous picture. Can't wait to see it completed. Secondly, it is well made with nice sturdy pieces. Third, I like that the pieces have very random shapes to them, not the normal square type pieces. These have very unique shapes, some are almost double the size of a normal piece and some are smaller. Oddly, in my mind that just makes it more fun!!!
