Let me preface this by saying I’ve had dandruff for many years and after trying many products nothing helped! NOTHING! I literally tried this product once, left it in overnight, and my dandruff was GONE! My scalp was not irritated and itchy. Dandruff was gone! I also noticed my hair was a lot silkier, softer, shinier. My hair since using this product has felt fuller as well. When I first opened the product, I was intrigued by the smell, to me it smelled something like coffee beans. However, once I applied it to my hair it literally smelled like old cigarette butts. If it wasn’t for the smell I would have loved to continue using this product. I mean it was overpowering. If you can put up with the smell then this product definitely works, and did things for my hair and scalp that I did not expect it to. I wish I could have continued using it but the smell was just a no for me.

This product is effective and works when you use it consistently. My favorite way to use this product is as a pre-poo conditioner applied to scalp and hair overnight with a plastic shower bag/cap, shampoo out and deep condition the next day. I also use it a couple times a week as a leave in conditioner, using only small amounts. It definitely has that strong, distinctive, burnt coffee, tobacco smell, but I can live with it.

I grew 2 inches of new hair in 2 months! My hair stylist was blown away. It does smell like a moldy bonfire but after trying diy fermented rice water this is much better. I use it twice a week with coconut oil and before the coconut oil didn’t do much on its own I use it to dilute and more evenly spread the oil. It’s fantastic!!!

Smells awful like something burnt

I was skeptical using this, but literally my hair has grown 4 inches in 3 weeks I can’t believe it!! The only downside of using it I mean if you think this is a downside is it smells like a campfire! But I like that smell. I’m even growing new hair my hair is getting thicker and I actually have hair growing on my eyebrows I haven’t had hair grow there in 20 years! I definitely recommend if you want your hair to start growing
