This clamp is a good option for vertical uses. I have the Pedco Ultraclamp, which has no stated weight capacity. It seemed only good for action cams and light camcorders, especially if you use a magic arm longer than the provided one. I tried using it with a heavy duty Manfrotto friction arm and my Mixpre3ii with 2 l-mount batteries on the sled, and was disappointed with its holding power. Enter the Neewer heavy duty c-clamp. This thing also has a 4’ material clamp capacity and claimed 44 pound capacity. I believe it. This thing is solid and inspires confidence. There are loads of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes to choose from. A great value too.

This is just what i needed to mount my lights to my standing desk. It gave me the ability to get rid of my tripods, which allowed me to free up floor space, as I am working in a bedroom. The quality is second to none, which makes them stable and reliable. There are too many mounting options, which is not a bad thing, and it gives me versatility within my setup.

If you want a heavy duty, secure, clamp this is a great option. I bought it for equipment to mount to a shooting bench. It works really well for that. If I had camera equipment that I had to carry around every day I would look for a lighter option. It weighs a good bit. However, it hold things securely and is a top quality item. The only thing to watch for is the screws like to back out. Carry your tool pouch with you. Overall it fits my needs very well, but it's not for every situation.

Second time buying this. The C Clamp has tons of screw slots to add any sort of accessory.

Very heavy duty. Have 2 strapped to my adjustable height desk and never have any issues! I trust my expensive equipment on them every day wit no worries!

It's very sturdy and well-built, however I have to take it to a mechanic to make a one more hole with 3/8 thread in the center of the logo. All stock holes are near the edge of the clamp and the tripod head in them overhangs ugly. Other than that it's very good.

I bought this, specifically, for use with a spotting scope on a firing range concrete table. Works perfect. The very wide span allows for thick attachment point. (I did have to do some shopping to adapt that junior(?) mount to a Manfrotto grip mount.) AND, as wide as it already opens, you can expand it's max even further. Lots of thread attachment points. I would suggest making the exact same mount option with a 3/8 stem, allowing for user option of head. Holds table very tight, not needing to use a tripod at the range.

Wanted a better quality clamp for my light with magnified, which this one meets my need.

Ich habe inzwischen schon das zweite Exemplar dieser Tischklemme gekauft, da ich sie zum Fotografieren und Filmen als sehr praktisch erachte. Sie ist groß und robust und kann auch mit dickeren Tischplatten umgehen, lässt sich aber auch mit Regalen verwenden. Gut finde ich vor allem die vielen Montage-Punkte, die oben und seitlich befindlichen Gewindelöcher in unterschiedlichen Größen sowie die mittels drei Schrauben fest montierbare Zapfenhalterung. Ich sehe vor allem zwei Anwendungsfälle: man kann die Klemme vorne am Tisch montieren und beispielsweise ein Ringlicht ideal platzieren. Andernfalls finde ich sie vor allem in Verbindung mit Magic Arms praktisch, um auch eine Kamera platzsparend und effektiv zu montieren und ausrichten zu können. Tatsächlich geht auch beides gleichzeitig. Zu Bemängeln gibt es aus meiner Sicht nicht viel, ich hätte mir bei den Gewinden noch Löcher für Sicherheitspins gewünscht, damit z.B. ein Magic Arm verdrehsicher montiert werden kann. So muss man diesen fest anziehen und wenn man häufig nachjustiert auch immer mal wieder nachziehen. Ansonsten finde ich die Funktionalität aber super, kompakt aber effektiv!

Does the job, plenty of room for wiggle

Very substantial clamp. Well made and very secure when clamped on a bench or desk. I have modified my one by drilling a larger hole to mount a 1” diameter column using a metric thread.
