Cot bolts
Idea for replacement of lost bolts for the cot.

At first, lost, at once I was found
Plagued, though I was, by the constant rattle in the dark - the tap, tap, tap of my child's dreaming body thrashing against the loose bars of the cot, my insanity began to grow. I would find myself rocking in the darkness of the garden at night, or knocking gently on his door, "come and take your medicine". You see, the missing component of the cot had an impact beyond that of the cot itself. In disrupting sleep, the ailment of the cot became the ailment of man - I, now, also had a screw missing.These screws were the correct shape for the job I required - to fastened the end of my son's bed to the remaining frame, to allow the cot bars to stop his limp, sleeping form from cascading over the edge of the mattress and plummeting 1ft to the soft, spongy carpet beneath.They have returned our house to calm and to silence. The mere ghost of the tap, tap, tap now fades to ethereal obscurity. Life is quiet, my own screws restored.The screws have brought order, now if i could only those marbles I have misplaced...
