I have used this shampoo and conditioner for a long time. I have dry itchy scalp and this stuff is wonderful. Basically the only thing that helps and hair always has nice body. The last two times I've ordered they didn't send the product ordered but substituted travel size --several which was great so not like they were trying to short the order. But the size shown lasts a good while. The travel size is basically good for one lathering so that means two travel size shampoo for one wash. The small bottles barely have any product in them and both times they sent them there was leakage which is weird because they are safety sealed. Will be glad when the full size is available again. It would help if they would advise when ordering that size not available vs sending travel size in lieu of......The product really does work for dry scalp.

Hive itch. If you know it, you know it. Hydrocortisone 1% shampoo, another anti-itch in the conditioner. There is no absolute relief, but this shampoo & conditioner quiets 70%/90%-ish of my scalp itch for ~12 hours, allowing more healing time. It's not a cure-all, but it's the best otc scalp itch relief I've discovered. **UPDATE** - I have to add that, the conditioner is not great for fine hair. It's heavy and really doesn't look very nice on guys with short hair. Just looks unclean, greasy. I understand that many folks prefer that heavy-hair styling. Just not for me. Probably would buy it again because health comes before beauty...always.

I have been using nexxus shampoo for all my life and so when I needed to start using this product for my contact dermatitis, I was shocked at how bad my hair felt after the wash. I figure it is the medicine in it. And the conditioner helps a little to make my hair softer but not like salon shampoos and conditioners.I thought it would help heal my scalp but it has not. My scalp is less red in places but still scaly and dry and flakey! YIKES!I will try some other products and if nothing else works I might try this again...

This works very well to eliminate dandruff and itching.

In my late 20s I started getting itchy flaky scalp, more than just dandruf, I had sores and scabs. I never went to a dermatologist to get it diagnosed, but I think it is probably psoriasis of the scalp. I tried dozens of different products but everything left my color treated hair feeling and looking terrible or quit working winthin a couple of weeks or both. I have been using Dr Marders for almost a year now and it’s a life saver. It is a bit expensive for the amount of product is in the bottle, but because it works so well I am able to go 2-3 days between washes without my scalp getting itchy which is amazing. I have long hair so I use the Dr Marders conditioner on my scalp and my regular conditioner on my ends to make it last longer. I still use dry shampoo in between washes for oil and shine control but it’s amazing that my scalp doesn’t itch. Definitely worth a try if you have dandruff or psoriasis!

The product is very good but they are falsely advertising the volume. I have order numerous times and have suspected this as the tube has too much air. I recently opened a new tube and transferred it into my 3oz travel container and it nearly emptied the tube of shampoo...the same for the conditioner. There is gross mislabeling, and at that price it is unconscionable. I will not buy again. Beware!

Bought the shampoo/conditioner combo pack. The products are wonderful. Control itchiness and smell good. Conditioner, even applied liberally, leaves my hair dry. So I add a few drops of argon oil applied the palms of my hands as a light finishing treatment.Package quantity quite small, however, this the ONLY product that you will find with this formulation. Shipping was also slow. However, company itself was very responsive and did go out of its way to ultimately make things right for us.So while buying experience itself was a bit wonky, overall I am very pleased with the product which is resolving my issue nicely. (my next step was going to be veterinary shampoo);-)
