The walking paper is gorgeous, thick and looks exactly as pictured, but there is not a tape that exists that will stay. Not regular, duck tape, gorilla glue strips, packing tape, painters tape, double sided, etc. I tried them all before I figured out I HAD to use either a hot glue gun or super glue. In no way am I exaggerating. I had to (at the last minute on the day of my daughters actual bday, go to the store to buy more wrapping paper, and as someone who works 16-17 hour days, what precious free time I had, should’ve been spent with my birthday girl. This was why I ordered online so it would be waiting for me when I got home, to wrap her gifts. I should’ve read the reviews !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful paper, but even scotch packing tape wouldn't work to wrap gifts.

I made the mistake of purchasing without reading the reviews because it was exactly what I was looking for. It’s Terrible. It’s so pretty sitting under the flocked Christmas tree but the tape doesn’t last. Can’t wrap gifts. I had to redo all my gifts as none of them stayed wrapped! I have requested a return even tho I tried to use it. I even tried packaging tape and it held a little bit but eventually stopped holding it wrapped.

I needed some paper for a craft project and I loved this color, the glitter, and the sturdiness of the paper. I read the reviews, so instead of messing with tape, I used glue. It WORKED BEAUTIFULLY--literally!! It is so nice to use and cut and looks like something other than paper. I recommend for any craft project or wrapping, just use glue. (I used hot glue, BTW.)

Bought for decorations at work and was great with staples to hang. When wrapping gifts, tape does not work. Been using packaging tape but even having trouble with that sticking and holding.

The quality, thickness of the paper, and the over all look is great. But tape doesn't stick to it. It makes wrapping incredibly difficult. I used scotch tape and packing tape. Maybe duct tape would work but that would ruin the esthetic.

This paper is really pretty and nice weight. However, nothing sticks to it! You cannot tape it with any type of tape including Gorilla tape. I had to use a hot glue gun just to wrap one gift and decided to just throw the roll away. I'm not sure why but not worth the money just to end up in the garbage.

So how would I wrap wedding and birthday gifts with this VERY SHORT gift wrapping paper? The color is sparkly but not as true as indicated in the photo -- and the real problem is the fact that you'll have to cut and cut to wrap it around a gift that's not small (which means that you'll have to tape and tape and tape again). I should have bypassed this one because the dimensions weren't complete, so I ASSUMED that it would be ACTUAL, NORMAL-SIZED GIFTWRAP. Never assume with these constantly shrinking foreign products! It won't be long before this paper will be no larger than a bubble gum wrapper....

The thickness of the paper is good. The glitter surface is beautifully but I've tried Scott's magic tape, cheap dollar store tape and packing tape and nothing sticks to the paper making it useless for its intended purpose. Very unhappy.

This paper did not disappoint. The most beautiful present I’ve ever wrapped. I used a hot glue gun as recommended and there was no issues with it at all.

Unless you plan on using just ribbons, you need serious glue or tape for this stuff. It's beautiful, and it's thick, but the only thing that worked for me was crazy glue. I even tried this super strong double sided tape...did nothing. It was infuriating to work with
