Very funny and gripping all at the same time
I loved it. It’s gripping, the language is crazy which I love. Love the characters. So funny. You need to read the ones before this but the character development is amazing too.

Slow start with a shocking ending!
I enjoyed this. It's a bit slower than the previous installments! I enjoyed the relationship between Rhiannon and Raf and how this develops throughout the book. The ending was a bit of a shock and actually quite emotional. Looking forward to seeing how things tie up in the next one!

Sweetpea is back, and as murderous as ever!
Can it really be true that everyone's favourite serial killer, Sweetpea, is on the wagon? It's been 831 days since her last kill and she's determined to be the woman that her sweet fiance Raf thinks she is. But then wife abuser Edo starts making trouble for Raf's sister, and Rhiannon, aka Sweetpea, aka Ophelia is on the warpath. As things escalate, will she be able to keep her past life as a vigilante killer of sex offenders hidden from Raf? Or even evade the justice that constantly tails her in the form of dogged detective Gericault? Life's just murder!I was blown away by the first Sweetpea book, and this fourth one in the series is equally as good. It's funny, fast-paced and thrilling, and Rhiannon is as foul-mouthed and forthright as ever, but she is growing, too, as a person. CJ Skuse's genius as a writer makes her a believable and vulnerable character, and never more so than in this book where she has finally found love and a family, and is in danger of losing it all. The story is not for the easily offended - there's lots of sex, swearing and violence in the narrative - but it is definitely for any reader who likes a book with a thrilling plot, an emotive pull to the main character, and a completely different take on the crime fiction genre. That's me - I love Sweetpea and I always will.I'd give this more than five stars if I could.Roll on the next book in the series.

Pfist bump (yes, really)
Fuuuudge! She's gone and done it again! Every time I crack the spine on a new Rhiannon saga, I think 'it won't be as good as the last'. If anything, each one gets better and better. No matter what name Rhi-Rhi goes by, she can not tame her sarky humour or smother her narcissistic sociopathic traits. She's completely unhinged and a psychologist's wet dream, but I still find myself cheering her on and even a bit jealous that she's found such a beaut family. The proper britishisms was on point and took me right back to all the rage inducing shite that went on during the Panny D. Will Americans get half of the bants? Prolly not. Rhiannon dilligaf'ed her way through it and I'm sure she'll be preening after reading this and other 5 star reviews. Yaaaas Bean Qween, slaaaaay! The ending was a kick in the vag. I'm broken. I need book 5 ASAP ðŸ˜

Amazing book!
I was greedily waiting to pounce on this the day it came out. These books are precious to me, book one was so enjoyable I ended up recommending it to everyone I knew and being annoying, book 2, In Bloom, just about saved my life and snapped me right out of a very dark time. Book 3 was fantastic and since then, Rhiannon has crossed my mind multiple times. I wondered what was going to become of her, so I ended up reading this in one day. It was brilliant. Funny, so very entertaining, thrilling, nerve-wracking and so much more. I really hope this book series continues. I would definitely be one of the Bad Seeds. I like watching/reading true crime, I despise serial killers but I love Rhiannon and I want her blood-soaked journey to continue on and on. My favorite book series of all time.

Thorn In My Side was another hand in mouth read where you were just waiting for the chills to come.
I’ve now read all of the books in the series and I have really enjoyed them all. I’m not sure if this is the definite last one or not but am hoping not. Not only for how this one ends but because Rhiannon is such a brilliant character. This book follows on from the where the last one ended. Rhiannon is settling into her new life with Rafael and his family and it has been a long time since she killed. Although she is still constantly looking over her shoulder and wondering if anyone will catch up to her, she is missing the thrill of a kill and is starting to get itchy feet. I really felt for her as she is trying to make a go of her new life and you can see how much she loves Rafael but she is unable to stop bad people getting to her and wanting to punish them. Whilst I wanted a happy ending for her, there is no doubting that the enjoyment in this whole series has been her take on the world and being a serial killer.Thorn In My Side was another hand in mouth read where you were just waiting for the chills to come. I love seeing a softer side to Rhiannon as well as her sense of justice. I’ve got to admit to having mixed feelings with how this one ends. I wasn’t expecting any happy endings but it was a bit abrupt and left me with lots of questions. Other than that though it was another great read with one of my favourite serial killers.

Not as good as the others
Struggled to read this one as it was a while since I had read the previous book in the series and couldn’t remember much of what happened. Format is getting repetitive now and so not as impactful. Stretching the boundaries of the possible and getting too OTT, plastic surgery, cartel money, setting fire to a reclusive house with 2 dead bodies in… disappointed in this one, is a long way from the first book which is the best one as its original and witty. This just felt like a hard slog to get through with no new surprises. Not sure I will read the next one.
