Postman Pat Van - Friction

Well built and is surviving a 1 year old and 3 year olds play time, very well!Even though pat is Moulded in a permanent sat down pose, it hasn't stopped the kids imagining he is walking and delivering mail like the TV show. Jess the cat is a great addition. Push and go mechanic is very well made and solid, rolls extremely well on its own power and makes a great sound. Really like this.Good size for very young children.

My Son loves Postman Pat and this is a very well loved toy. When he was learning to speak he called it "pat van". The wing mirrors broke off in the early days of ownership. One of the hub caps keep pinging off but we clip it back on. The van has survived many tantrums but does have a hairline crack across the whole of the roof now. This is down to my son's handling though and not an inferior product.I have also bought Alf's tractor and Pat's motorbike with side car but to be honest the van is the best of the bunch.

I bought this item for my Daughters birthday as she loves Postman Pat, after 3 weeks it still hadnt come and i contacted the seller. They sent a speedy response ensuring that it had been dispatched and asked me to be patient. The toy arrived on the Tuesday and my little ones birthday was the Friday. The door was broken so i contacted the seller but never received a reply which isnt the best customer service.As i didnt have time to get another, i decided to give it to my Daughter and it is a great toy will go over hills and bumps, one of the best friction toys i have come across. Pat and Jess fit into the van nicely and overall its a good quality toy just disaapointing that the seller is rubbish, will be making sure i dont buy from them again!

Having 3 'toddler' grandchildren, i bought a Postman Pat friction Van from a second hand shop recently. All 3 little ones (2 boys, 1 girl) loved it so much that we had constant squabbles over who could play with it. The product is so well made,the characters are so lifelike, and the van roars along at speed!! I tried everywhere to find another with no luck, then i found one on Amazon...amazing service, the toy was with me within a couple of days!....am thinking of ordering another soon. Thanks Amazon...No more fighting!

The reason for the 2 missing points is due to the van only being able to survive being dropped 98 times wihtout braking off a wheel cap.Our son has enjoyed PostMan Pat in TV hence got him this one for X-mas. Never mind the +10 other gifts when he saw this one."Pat, Pat, Pat" for several days - and even now..2 months after. Every day. The rubber figures are much nicer looking than the plastic-looking ones offered with the other 'Free wheel' Postman Pat van here on Amazon. And the friction function is still just perfect.The only improvement which come to mind was if the Friction Van could be made in wood - although the price would be quite different. I can only join the 5 rating made by others. Hope to see it in stock again soonest.

My three years old son got this van for Christmas and really appreciated it. Unfortunately he immediately noticed the fact that doors can't open so well, it seems like plastic will break as you play few times with it as it is very thin and light....however....it is still Intact!. Fiction mechanism is well Made and very funny.

Bought for my 2 year old grand daughter - did not expect it to be such a massive hit! The friction action which sends it a long way down the kitchen is excellent. She loves postman pat and Jess both in and out of the van & whilst it would be better if Pat could straighten and bend his legs rather than being permanently seated, it’s a minor detail! Highly recommend, superb value for money.

My grandson was over the moon when I gave him Postman Pat's van for his 2nd birthday. It is very sturdy, which is good news as it goes through some rough moments !! Postman Pat and Jess figures are extremeley well made. The only gripe is that the back doors do not open on the van - but this hasn't spoiled my grandson's enjoyment. I would recommend this product - five star !!
